Actor Abhishek Malik who is known for his role in shows like Kahaan Hum Kahaan Tum and Pinjara Khubsurti Ka, is now all set to be seen in the show Muskuraane Ki Vajah Tum Ho. In a recent interview with BT, the actor confirmed the news and shared, “I cannot tell you how happy I am to get back to Mumbai and start working. I have already done the mock shoots and I start shooting from May 16. In between, we will be having an outdoor shoot as well, so it is going to be fun.”
He added, “The producers of this show are people whose shows are doing really well. So when I was offered the part, I was glad. I also saw a lot of potential in the story and hence, I said yes. The last two shows which I did weren’t that great for me as an actor. So I will always consider Yeh Hai Mohabatein as a prominent project after which I am doing this one.”
The actor got married to blogger Suhani Malik in October last year. Talking about it, he said, “With Suhani, things have been great but in the past few months, we have seen the good and the bad side of it. There are so many adjustments to be made. There is love and there is anger. I am an early riser while she is a night owl. We both are strong-headed, so you can imagine how that can turn out to be sometimes.”
When asked if she will be moving with him to Mumbai, Abhishek said, “I had a home in Mumbai which I sold off and bought one in Gurgaon. Now again, I had to hunt for a new house. Suhani is accustomed to living in big Delhi houses and Mumbai houses are small compared to those. It will be a big adjustment for her, but she will shuttle between Mumbai and Delhi.”
