Abraam Pandey on being compared with superstar Mahesh Babu
Actor Abraam Pandey, who is known for his role in shows like Badi Door Se Aaye Hain, Khichdi Returns, Shrimaan Shrimati Phir Se, and Bakula Bua Ka Bhoot among others is being compared to Telugu superstar Mahesh Babu by the fans.
The actor talked about it and shared, “During my initial days in showbiz, people used to compare me a lot with superstar Mahesh Babu. I know it was a compliment to me. I love and adore him a lot but personally, I never wanted to be in comparison with any superstar. I always want to stay and be known for my identity. I worked on myself, probably the gym is helping me so these days not much, but still few people keep comparing me with him.”
He added, “I started my acting career playing funny characters. And I feel, people loved my performance so much that I was, again and again, getting opportunities to grow as an actor in the comedy genre. I was also enjoying it. But later when I got to play a negative role for the first time in the movie Laal Ishq, I was so impressed looking at myself. I really personally enjoyed shooting throughout. If someone asks me, about roles that I enjoy performing will be the grey-shaded ones or suspense thrillers in which you lead with an innocent face and gentlemanly personality but you also carry an evil side. But as an actor I’m always open to playing different roles, be it a romantic one, action, or anything that is challenging and exciting for me.”
