Actor Gurpreet Singh Reflects on ‘Chand Jalne Laga’ Journey: A Tale Cut Short

Actor Gurpreet Singh recently shared his sentiments regarding the impending conclusion of the show ‘Chand Jalne Laga,’ expressing regret that the brief duration didn’t allow audiences to fully explore his character, Prakash.

Starring Vishal Aditya Singh and Kanika Mann, ‘Chand Jalne Laga’ portrays a passionate love story, tracing the extraordinary journey of childhood sweethearts torn apart by fate.

In the series, Gurpreet essays the role of Prakash, the counterpart to Vishal’s character, Deva. Reflecting on his experience, Gurpreet lamented, “Joining the show relatively late, the short stint didn’t afford audiences the opportunity to fully delve into my character. The sudden end on February 15th brings forth a mix of emotions.”

The actor, renowned for his work in ‘Saarrthi,’ expressed disappointment at the abrupt conclusion of the project. “It’s disheartening when a project concludes unexpectedly. Nonetheless, I cherish the creative moments and connections forged during its run. Given more time, there could have been a deeper exploration and understanding of the role,” he remarked.

Portraying a morally ambiguous character, Gurpreet found allure in the complexity offered by such roles. “Accepting this role was intriguing as it allowed me to unravel the intricacies of human nature and present a different dimension of storytelling,” he explained.

Gurpreet highlighted the distinctive nature of portraying this character compared to his previous roles, citing the depth and ambiguity that challenged him as an actor. “The character’s complexity provided a unique experience, distinct from my prior projects,” added the ‘Porus’ actor, reflecting on the transformative journey within ‘Chand Jalne Laga.’
