Actor Jeevansh Chadha Embraces a New Role in ‘Mera Balam Thanedaar’ after a Hiatus; Shares Excitement for Fresh Journey

Renowned actor Jeevansh Chadha, recognized for his portrayal as Vidyut in the TV series Yeh Hai Chahatein alongside Abrar Qazi and Sargun Kaur Luthra, has recently embarked on a parallel lead role in the newly launched show ‘Mera Balam Thanedaar.’

Expressing his enthusiasm, Jeevansh informed ETimes TV about his return to the small screen following a year-long hiatus. Reflecting on his past endeavors, he mentioned the culmination of his role in ‘Yeh Hai Chahatein’ in January 2023 and expressed delight in commencing the New Year with a fresh opportunity. In the forthcoming series, titled ‘Mera Balam Thanedaar,’ he assumes the character of Ambar, engaging audiences in a captivating love triangle. The actor commenced shooting for the show in Naigaon and eagerly anticipates embarking on this novel journey.

Son of esteemed actor-producer Deepak Chadha, Jeevansh clarified that his hiatus from TV was not a planned decision but rather a natural progression while exploring various artistic mediums. He delved into music videos and concurrently worked on a web series alongside Tanuj Virwani, set to debut soon on streaming platforms. Now, revitalized with this new TV venture, he expressed gratitude towards his roots in television acting, acknowledging the love and appreciation received from that sphere where he initiated his career.

Scheduled to grace the show in the upcoming week, Jeevansh, known for his appearance in ‘Ranju Ki Betiyaan,’ expressed his gratitude for a positive start to 2024. He articulated his excitement for a new beginning, poised to resonate with a fresh audience, and highlighted his aspirations for personal growth across various facets of life.

‘Mera Balam Thanedaar,’ a social drama featuring Shagun Pandey and Shruti Choudhary as lead actors, revolves around a love story entwined with the challenging backdrop of underage marriage in Rajasthan. The series intricately navigates the journey of two contrasting individuals, emphasizing their struggles against societal norms. Additionally, the show boasts an ensemble cast including Neelu Vaghela, Rajendra Chawla, Vije Bhatia, Rishi Khurana, and Astha Choudhary, promising an engaging narrative and performances.
