Pankit Thakker on his new show Bohot Pyaar Karte Hai, says, “My character in the show is different from what I have played in the last few years”
Pankit Thakker who was last seen on Aapki Nazron Ne Samjha, has signed a new show Bohot Pyaar Karte Hai produced by Sandiip Sikcand. The shooting for the show has already begun and Pankit is expected to join the team after 10 days.
The actor shared his excitement for the new project during a recent interview and said, “There is not much that I can share about this character at the moment. All I can say is that it’s a positive role.”
Talking about his approach to every role, Pankit shared, “I always see if the story is interesting for me and the audiences. After that, I focus on my character and how important my role is to the storyline. That’s when I take it up. Even if I am paid handsomely, I will not do a serial whose story doesn’t have the power to touch the audience’s heart. This show has a good story and my character has an important part to play. It is different from whatever I have played on screen in the last few years.”
Pankit’s last show Aapki Nazron Ne Samjha ended last year in October. When asked how he deals with periods when he is not working, he replied, “Actors are used to this, where they have worked for years and after the show ends, there is a gap until they sign a new show. We understand that it isn’t a corporate job. We end up planning out life and our time accordingly. So I plan things accordingly.”
