It’s been a while since actor Shiney Ahuja has been missing from the screen. Shiney who rose to fame with his debut movie Hazaaron Khwaishein Aisi in 2006 later did several hit movies like Gangster, Woh Lamhe, Life in a Metro, and Bhool Bhulaiyaa. The actor was last seen in Welcome Back 2.
Now Shiney is all set to return to the screen with Bigg Boss 16. According to one of our sources, Shiney is in conversation with the makers of the show and is most likely to be a part of Bigg Boss 16.
For the unversed Shiney was arrested by the police in June 2009 on charges of raping, detaining, and threatening his 19-year-old domestic servant. During the trial, his maid changed her statement and told the Court that she was never raped. However, the judge believed that the maid changed her statement under pressure and, in 2011, sentenced Shiney to seven years of prison.
The recent legal drama film Section 375 is based on Shiney Ahuja’s case.
