Actor Karam Rajpal who was essaying the male lead of Rang Jaun Tere Rang Mein has decided to quit the show, as he didn’t want to play father to actors his age. The show is all set for a time leap of 20 years post which the show will witness several changes in the storyline.
One of the major twists will be the entry of two boys opposite two female protagonists. Now according to the latest reports, the makers of the show have roped in Angad Hasija of Sapna Babul Ka…Bidaai fame and Reyaansh Vir Chadha to essay the new male leads on the show. Angad will be paired opposite Megha.
While Angad was last seen as Takshak Naag in Dharm Yoddha Garud, Reyaansh is known for his negative character in Aggar Tum Na Hote.
Earlier in an interview with BT, Karam Rajpal talked about his decision of quitting the show and shared, “The show is taking a 20-year time leap and my character would have aged considerably. I didn’t want to play such an older character. The makers and I were in talks regarding the change in the storyline and the time leap. They asked me if I would be comfortable playing an older character. I wasn’t.”
