Actress Aura Bhatnagar aka Bondita talks about the second season of Barrister Babu; says she will be wearing frocks instead of sarees in the second season.
The popular TV show Barrister Babu is back with a second season. The first season ended in November 2021. The second season of the show will have the child actor Aura Bhatnagar Badoni essaying the role of Bondita’s daughter.
Aura talked about it during a recent interview and said, “When I was chosen to play the role of Bondita, I was only 6 years old. I had given an audition at that time. I used to always enjoy wearing saris, so it was no problem wearing saris and getting ready for the role of Bondita in the first season. Now, in the second season, I am playing Bondita’s daughter and I will be called Durga. In the second season, I will be seen wearing frocks. I am very excited to be on sets again. The whole day goes with all of us working and enjoying on the sets. My mother and father both accompany me to the sets.”
She added, “I enjoy acting and never feel tired. I had to mouth long dialogues in the first season, but I never found it difficult. I just went with the flow.”
Talking about how she manages to study as well as her shoots, she shared, “I am in the 6th grade and now 11 years old. We came to Mumbai in Jan 2020. I study along with working on the sets. From childhood, I have enjoyed doing shows in school and taking part in activities.”
For the unversed, Barrister Babu’s first season had Pravisht Mishra and Aura playing the lead roles. The second season will have Vaishnavi Prajapati and Aura essaying their children.
