Actress Jyoti Sharma talks about her honeymoon plans with hubby Tushar Bhardwaj
Jyoti Sharma, who rose to fame with her stint as Tejaswini in Aisi Deewangi Dekhi Nahi Kahi, has tied the knot with Tushar Bhardwaj on December 2 in Delhi. For the unversed, Tushar is a creative director by profession.
The actress talked about it during a recent interview with BT and shared, “Being married is amazing. It was everything we had dreamt of. We had been preparing for our big day for such a long time. Our families and not only us, but our friends – mine from my hometown and Tushar’s from Mumbai – graced our special day and made it even more memorable and beautiful. We have no clue how those three days flew past. Tushar and I had a blast and we enjoyed every function. We were involved with everyone and danced with them. In fact, our friends told us that this was probably the first time they saw the bride and the groom being equally involved and enjoying their wedding instead of sitting like a showpiece with everyone looking at them. It was like a three-day mini vacation for all of us (smiles).”
Post the celebrations, the newlyweds now wants to get back to work. When asked about their honeymoon plans, she shared, “That will have to wait. We have put it on hold, as we have to get back to work. Tushar is working on three shows, including Punyashlok Ahilyabai, simultaneously and he can’t afford to extend his leave. We will plan it later.”
She added, “I have been chilling at home for the last two months. I have been living in Mumbai for 11 years and wanted to spend some quality time with my family in my hometown before marriage. It’s been a long break and I ought to get back to work now. Bohot araam ho gaya and excited to get back to work. Nayi shaadi ka jo bridal glow aata hai uss glow ke saath I want to come back (smiles).”
