Actress Karishma Sawant who made her way to the Indian television with Star Plus’ super hit show ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ is known for bringing a fresh new charm into the show. Her acting skills were like a breath of fresh air and she brought brilliance to her not so positive character.
The actress recently opened up about her stance and revealed about the one who she thinks is her biggest competition. Talking about the same Karishma stated to a leading entertainment portal, “I only focus on myself and the only competition I have with is myself and with the person I was yesterday”.
Furthermore, the actress also shared her mantra for life, “Perseverance is the key for me and ‘keep doing good deed without thinking of its fruit’ is my mantra for life” she concluded.
Ever since Karishma made an entry in ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’, she has been receiving immense love and has successfully garnered a massive fan following.

When asked about playing the grey-shaded character in the show, Karishma said, “I relate to the times where she tries to pick herself up and move on from her past. This is a quality that Aarohi possesses and so do I. Other than that, I am very different from Aarohi. Whenever I come across my fans, they tell me that you’re so quiet and calm, so different from how we see you on screen. I take that as a compliment because that’s the impact my character has on the audience because of the way I have portrayed it. Lots of love to the audience”.
