Actress Ruchi Singh on being unemployed for a year; says, “It’s difficult to survive”
Actress Ruchi Singh, who is best known for her role in the show Santoshi Maa Sunayein Vrat Kathayein season 2 has had her fair share of struggles. During a recent interview, the actress talked about it and opened up about the struggles she faced after her first show.
Ruchi said, “Being into showbiz, I have accepted the fact that ups and downs will be a part of my life. My first break was with Rashmi Sharma Telefilms in 2020. I worked in the show Santoshi Maa Sunayein Vrat Kathayein season 2 for around 2 years, but after that, I went into a ‘no work in the hand’ phase. There was this whole year where I had no work and I genuinely was so demotivated. I tried everything but nothing was working. It was tough physically, mentally, and emotionally.”
She further added, “It’s difficult to survive for 1 year in the industry without work because that kind of phase takes a great toll on you. I believe that every actor faces a situation when they don’t have good work in hand and all they can do is be patient and polish their acting skills. So, I also did the same during the phase.”
When asked about her current project, Ruchi said, “Yes, I have signed a television show recently and I am quite excited about it. However, I can’t talk much about the project, but I can say that people will love me in this new character.”
