It’s raining weddings in the TV industry and actors are getting married one after the other. Next in line seems to be actress Vrushika Mehta who was last seen in Yeh Teri Galiyan and Ishqbaaaz. She recently got engaged to a Toronto-based software engineer Saurabh Ghedia. The actress met Saurabh through social media a couple of months back and they got engaged in Saurabh’s hometown Ahmedabad among family members and close friends.
When we spoke to Vrushika, she said, “I am a very private person and I don’t like talking about my life. I would not want to get into details but I am very happy that I found Saurabh. He is a software engineer and lives in Toronto. We got engaged on December 11 with the blessings of our parents.”
The engagement ceremony was also a lot of fun. Vrushika shared, “I was surprised to see how well Saurabh dances when he shook a leg at our engagement. We are both very happy. We plan to get married next year, but haven’t yet finalised the date. We are working out the details. I have not yet decided if I am moving to Toronto after marriage, so I won’t be able to share much about my future plans.”
Talking about her work, Vrushika said, “After Yeh Teri Galiyan and a cameo in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlataa Hai, I have not done any TV show. I did do a web show and I enjoy being an influencer on social media, and making reels. I will do a TV show only when there is a meaty role for me.”
