The episode starts with Badi rani requesting Badi amma to make Manu as devrakshika tonight itself. Devsena says ritual can happen only after 7 days and already Manu’s 2 years are snatched, they cannot snatch her remaining 7 days of life. Badi rani says only devrakshika can save yuvraj from snake with pushp arpan. Devsena asks why is she ruining Manu’s life for her son. Badi rani pleads to save her son’s life and bends down.
Yuvraj sits in jungle alone. Icchadhari nagin sees him and thinks he will die today. She starts singing tere sang pyar me….song…..Yuvraj follows her. She hypnotizes him and he walks towards bunch of snakes.
Manu gets up badi rani and says she does not have to do that and tells Devsena that she knows that becoming devrakshika is her dream. She will become devrakshika today itself to save her friend Madhav’s life and continues her emotional speech. Badi amma sheds tears and then tells badi rani let us start rituals and takes Manu to special purification temple room.
Yuvraj continues walking behind icchadhari nagin.. Manu is taking to purification temple room and she sits between a special circle made by flowers. Devsena also sits in similar circle. Badi amma rings bell repeatedly with teary eyes. Badi rani performs rituals on Devsena first and gives her pooja thali. Devsena revolves around Manu holding thali and sits down outside circle.
Icchadhari nagin takes hypnotized yuvraj to restritcted jungle. Devsena washes Manu’s feet and applies haldi/kukum on her them. She then ties a protective thread on her wrist. Icchadhari nagin thinks once yuvraj turns 18, nagman will choose him as its protector and then she will kill yuvraj and take away nagmani. Yuvraj is about to step on snakes.
