Adil Khan Durrani’s Musical Retaliation: Shoots Song ‘Baat Hi Kuchh Aur Hai’ Inspired by Real-Life Saga with Rakhi Sawant
In a musical response to Rakhi Sawant’s song “Jhootha,” which delved into her real-life experiences and featured Salman Shaikh as a character resembling her estranged husband Adil Khan Durrani, Adil is set to counter with his own narrative. Seven months after Rakhi’s release, Adil is gearing up to shoot a song titled “Baat Hi Kuchh Aur Hai,” shedding light on his life and the challenges he faced after encountering Rakhi. The single will commence shooting in Chandigarh, with Kriti Verma, a participant from Bigg Boss Season 12, cast to portray Rakhi Sawant.
Confirming the development in a recent interview, Adil shares, “Yes, I am currently in Chandigarh and will begin shooting for the single tomorrow. The song, titled ‘Baat Hi Kuchh Aur Hai,’ is based on my life and the challenges I faced after Rakhi Sawant entered my life.” The narrative will unfold the treatment he received, including physical abuse and false accusations leading to a five-month jail term. It will also spotlight instances of Rakhi’s infidelity and deceit in convincing him to marry her despite being married to Ritesh Singh.
Through this musical endeavor, Adil aims to present his side of the story, addressing the complexities that words may fail to express. He emphasizes that the single will focus on the evidence presented in court and will steer clear of drama and sensationalism, presenting only the truth. Recreating the past, Adil notes, “Shooting for the song will be like a journey back in time for me, as I am replicating the clothes, home, and everything from that phase.”
Adil and Rakhi have been embroiled in a public dispute, exchanging serious allegations since his release from a Mysuru jail in August. Responding to Rakhi’s claim that he used her to establish himself in showbiz, Adil asserts, “I got work much before she started causing troubles in my life. So, my work isn’t because of her. Besides, what work does she have other than making false claims in the media every second day.”
