The last weekend of Indian Idol 12 was hosted by couple Bharti Singh and Haarsh Limbachiyaa instead of Aditya Narayan. Aditya took to his social media account to update his fans with the reason for his absence for action.
Aditya had an injury in his right calf. He wrote, “Hey! Unfortunately, I was out of action due to a gastrocnemius tear in my right calf. My sincere gratitude to friends like family @bharti.laughterqueen @haarshlimbachiyaa30 for taking over the coveted #IndianIdol stage. Thoroughly enjoyed watching the two episodes. I am back this week. Rejoice!”

The theme for last weekend was ‘India Ki Farmaish’ where the contestants performed on the songs demanded by their fans. Transgenders also were invited to the show to support their favorite contestants on show.
Bharti Singh sought blessings from the transgenders of being blessed with a baby girl. Speaking about this, Bharti said, “I really believe in the blessing of you guys and I really believe you people are very lucky and are like the Messenger of God and I would like to request you to give me and Harsh your blessings that very soon our home should be blessed by a baby girl.”
In the same episode, Neha Kakkar donated 3 lakh rupees to the families of missing laborers from Uttarakhand.
