Chapter 4
Naira had slept that night very calmly. She had dreamt of all the happy moments that she had spent with karthik. She was now determined that she could do this. She would give her mendhak a chance. She would give herself a chance. She would give them a chance to find happiness.
Her alarm had started ringing when it was 6. She shut off the alarm without opening her eyes. She rubbed her eyes and fluttered them open. As soon as she opened her eyes she saw that everyone in the family was cramped up in her room. All were looking at her with happiness as well as sadness.
Rajshri : Common bittiya rani wake up.
Naksh : Yes 007 we have been waiting since half an hour for you to wake up.
Mishti : Yes didi. They didn’t even let me have my breakfast.
A huge smile immediately formed on naira’s face. She had such lovely people surrounding her who loved her with her imperfections. Who knew she was flawed but still loved her. And that’s when she realised that instead of being flawed she was also marred with love in her own way.
She got out of the bed and she knew that the rest of the day was going to be full of familia !!
All of them had their breakfast together and after that they had removed the old photo albums. She went through her childhood memories. Her journey from a baby to an adolecent. The huuuge family that she had.
When she found some sort of escape from all the celebration going on. She decided to call karthik. As expected he didn’t answer. So she dropped him several messages requesting him to come to the airport in the evening.
Later that day everybody had bought gifts for her. She opened all of them and found that all her necessities which she would require in london were there. Awww……her family.
She didn’t get to know how her day flew by. Soon it was evening and it was time for her to leave for the airport. She hugged everyone and there were several tears shed. The whole family had decided that only akshara, naithik and naksh would accompany her to airport while the rest would say farewell from the home itself.
Naksh loaded her luggage in the car while naithik drove the car towards airport. Naira had her fingers crossed hoping to see her mendhak waiting at the airport for her. She would finally tell him how much she loved him ……..
