Aishwarya Sharma on being a part of Khatron Ke Khiladi 13; says, “My husband Neil and my mother-in-law are very excited about my journey in the show”
Aishwarya Sharma, who is known for her role as Patralekha in Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Mein, is now all set to showcase her adventurous side with the stunt-based reality show Khatron Ke Khiladi 13. The actress is currently in South Africa shooting for the show. Earlier in an interview with ETimes TV, Aishwarya talked about her family especially her husband Neil Bhatt, mother-in-law, and father’s reaction to her Khatron Ke Khiladi participation.
She said, “My family is very happy with my participation and they even got emotional. They are very happy that I will be doing a show like Khatron Ke Khiladi 13. In fact, my husband Neil and my mother-in-law are very excited to see my Khatron Ke Khiladi journey. My family is excited that I’ll be doing something very different. My father was very worried when I left Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin, he asked me “Ab kya karegi?”. But then the offer of KKK 13 came my way. He’s very happy and blessed me to do good in life.”
Aishwarya also reacted to the rumors about her quitting Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin for KKK13 and shared, “I feel jiske naseeb mein joh hota hai Usko Woh Milta hai… mere naseeb mein Ghum jahan tak likha tha wahan tak tha (whatever is written in your destiny you will get it. It was my journey to do Ghum till this point and I did it. Now, my Khatron journey is starting from here on. Jisko joh bolna hai keep saying I don’t care (laughs).”
She added, “Till now people have known me by my character name from Ghum, they have known me as Patralekha but there are few people who follow me on social media and know how I am in real life. Through Khatron Ke Khiladi people will get to know the real Aishwarya. They usually refer to me as Pakhi but I’m hoping they will after this address me by my name.”
Aishwarya, who is known for her blunt nature says she has no qualms about showing her weaknesses, “I’m a person whose life is like an open book which everyone knows about. Whatever is in my heart, I speak. I can’t pretend or wear a filter. I am like this as a person, very transparent and that’s why some people troll me (laughs).”
Talking about her new haircut, the actress said, “Yes, I’m enjoying this new short hair look because I had this same look in 2020 before I joined Ghum but slowly while doing the show my hair grew. So I decided to get the same haircut once I left Ghum. Also, Neil, my mother-in-law, likes this short hair so I decided to get the same look again.”
