Don’t show this kind of molestation track…Manhandling and inhumane behaviour to women…Specially by a male lead…Otherwise the show will loose audience for sure…The main leads are very good pair…They both are very talented actor don’t waste them plz…It’s a request from all the viewers…We don’t want to stop watching this show
It would be a good idea if Prem could take Teja’s advice.. I absolutely loved that dressing down she gave him. I hope he would use her advice to make a man of himself and become a successful individual…there’s a fine line between love and hate and this is nicely depicted between the two. Prem’s heart is soft but when he’s instigated by the good for nothing Arjun, he turns beast and verbally abused Teja and I’m tired of seeing women in serials being treated this way. I applaud her when she speaks out and says her mind when speaking with Prem, at least we know she’s no pushover.. I think her line of defense could have been stronger in the beginning but she nicely proved herself innocent of her accusations later on. That look on Prem’s face was priceless when he was caught. I would hope soon that we would see a more mature Prem if Arjun doesn’t provoke or instigate him….
same doubt i have as teju asked to prem that why he hatred her this way to locked her in non roaming people, but no clarity given that question, any way episode ok.
Naz you are right there is a fine line between Love and hatred and Prem definitely is on the verge of crossing that line.As for Teja how can we expect her to have a soft corner for Prem?Right from the beginning, she has been seeing his darker side only.Whatever is the provocation,Prem should not have done this to Teja or to any girl for that matter. It is very good that Prem is very proud of his father and respects his values .Then why does he forget that his father loves Teja as a daughter because she not only saved his family but is intelligent ,hardworking and responsible.Ofcourse Prem knows everything but his ego hurts whenever he remembers that he is inferior to Teja and by nature men are egoistic .Arjun is taking advantage of Prem’s weakness and inciting hatred for Tejaswani……So time for Prem to grow up and analyse why he is doing all this to a poor scholarship student who can not afford to waste valuable time like he and his brothers.Definitely he is since person with a clean heart but what is its use if it is filled with hatred ,revenge and jealousy for a sweet girl?
Naz,you might have noticed that it has become a norm in many Zee serials that male
leads are shown inferior to female leads(,Raja ,Rani. In Etretr,Shaury ,Mahek in Zindagi……and now Prem ,Tejaswani.)and to cover it up,these guys turn bullies,.Time for the writers to grow
up as well along with their lead Prem.
Yeah lakshmi i agreed you. i wathc in ZEE Aisi Deewangi Dekhi Nahi, Zindagi Ki Meheka, Piyaa Albela and Woh Apna Sa.
Yes Lakshmi, the males are too abusive and as you’ve pointed out, they are portrayed as inferior and it’s a true depiction of how egotistical men really are. Even in reel life, they have huge egos and have difficulty with a successful woman!!! I felt so sorry for Teja when she was begging to prove her innocence, even the teacher was so dumb to accuse her without proof. Even I was muttering..check out the handwriting madam…. Lakshmi…. Prem is going to have work twice as hard to woo Teja now because she’s been burnt by him. I want him to fall in love with Teja first, let him lose sleep and have pain trying to win her. If writers are reading our comments, please….don’t allow Teja to accept Prem so easily, it would be unfair to a spirited and smart young woman’s intellect. Speaking of egotistical men, Shaurya takes the whole cake… Mehek has only few moments to be happy, Shaurya is always insulting, frowning and vengeful towards Mehek, poor woman…she has to put up with his boorish temperament and sour attitude every single day, she’s almost never happy…….on a serious note, my own massi had a husband like that and she passed through hell on earth, when he should have died first and left her to enjoy some peace with her life, she went first leaving him on his own. One day one of my mama (Mamoo) we say it like that here…was passing by mama’s house and found him dead for hours on his rocking chair because he lived alone… I remember him when I was a little girl, I used to watch him from under my eyelids and was afraid to go play with my cousins there…. ?… Sorry for rambling on ur it makes conversation right and who else would I share it with??? Of course it’s you dear Lakshmi… Hey, have a wonderful weekend too. Chat soon. You know me ehh, I drop in at times to comment when thoughts enter my head, I’m always busy thinking…. ? ?
Hi Naz and Laskhmi sorry to say thsi, i am not watching ETRETR. have a nice weekend to both.
Ammu, I’m in pain right now concerning ETRETR so I’ll refrain from making a long comment on that….you too Ammu, have a lovely day safe weekend. Chat with you on Monday.. ??
Dear don’t think much with this serials, please consider as only entertainment, and enjoy with ur family in this weekend, see u on monday.
Oh ,Dear Naz,I feel like coming there and comforting my friend and sister,,,,I know how you feel because I feel the same,it is deep pain ,not able to concentrate on anything,I felt like this when I could n’t attend my dear father’s funeral and it was impossible for me to believe that he was gone forever. Now after so many years,I am not able together over this pain caused by the death of this young couple who adored each other and in turn adored by all of us.
Friend we are not in this all alone, grief is pouring out from each and every viewer, as for telly updates ETRETR forum, there was not a single comment yesterday, every one shell shocked, nothing to offer,it is just like deathly silence after a deadly storm. The fact is that all of us,irrespective of age ,have somehow bonded with this lovely couple and it is becoming torturous even to think that we will never ever see our Rajabaja and Chipkali,,at the same time Naz, we should accept the truth that that they are no more. Those writers have simply murdered them .Outwardly I am trying to look normal ,friend, but I feel like shutting myself and grieve for Rajabaja and Chipkali who have immortalised that beautiful word LOVE.
We both can identify with same experiences in life… So amazing to have connected with you on this medium… Thanks for being my friend…
Yes Ammu I agree that Fiction is to just see ,forget and move on ,but some characters take you down the memory lane and will be etched in our memory for ever.As I said in my previous comment that almost all movies or small screen serials show love stories ,but only a very few make that impact and Etretr belongs to that category,Do you know Ammu that all of us on ETRETR forum fought with the writers and made their life hell when they killed Rani and brought in her look alike to romance with Raja? Finally they were forced to kill Raja also and start all over again with rebirth of Raaj and Rani but the cynics would be killing them in another two days to end the serial.
The surprising thing about Etretr is that all the viewers irrespective of their age, started identifying themselves with Raja and Rani. Before Etretr, had someone told me that two fictious characters could affect the viewers so profoundly,I wouldn’t have believed, but the story of ETRETR ,the royal backdrop, the characters ,particularly the attraction and adorable romance between the leads simply take us to a lovely bygone era.and Sartaj and Eisha,…Well!they are born to play Raja and Rani.Ofcourse all good things come to an end but all the viewers of ETRETR would have tears tears of joy had it ended happily.
Anyways let us enjoy the fights between Prem and Teja before start romancing each other.
Last sentence ……..Pl.read as ‘before they ‘
Sorry for Ty.po error
Lakshmi, I was on the etretr forum to check for comments and you won’t believe who messaged me. Check it out…
My God! Naz it is our 12 year old friend Jules ,what a cheeky child she is to call you MOM for advising her that this is no time to come on forums particularly without her mother’s knowledge.Anyways I am happy that she has done very well in her exams and got into one of the prestigious schools.Naz .i think our education system is different from yours, here schooling is from 1st to 10th or in CBSE schools till 12th.Next at college level ,various streams are available ….Arts, Commerce ,Sciences,Engineering Medical ,Law and business Administration.Competition is way too much for the last four,so students have to work very hard to secure admission and tough entrance exams are conducted every year at all India level.Needless to say, better rank holders get into the best colleges. At a higher level stringent entrance exams are there for IITs ,IIMs and IndianAdministrative services. This is only upto graduation, for post graduation and Doctorates ,more competition .
So our young friend has a quite long road ahead to reach her destination ,let us wish her all the best. And you did give her a lovely yet fitting reply.Have a nice weekend Friend.
Lol… Jules was on the WAS forum and was commenting on the adult stuff so I explained to her about her education and she was grateful for the advice and replied in kind and told me she considers me to be her mom as well on that forum, so she promised me she’ll let me know of her success in the exam and she did. Such a lovely child….
Lakshmi, our educational system here is fashioned after the British module. There’s kindergarten from 4yrs old to 5yrs old where kids graduate to primary school till 11 -12 years old. These kids have no time to play ,they carry heavy bags on their shoulders and backs at such a tender age. They have to work extra hard or they won’t graduate to the next year class. When they reach 10 or 11 yrs they have to write SEA exams and it’s so stressful that it even takes a toll on the parents because they have to give their kids mental support when they need to cope with it themselves, the rigorous extra lessons criteria has to be used to supplement the syllabus because it’s too wide. The work they have to cover is like adult level… Then they pass the SEA exam level and go on for 5 -7 yrs in highschool to write the same exams which Jules will one day write, the Caribbean… Guyana included, writes the same exams. Then it’s university level for Bachelor’s degree, Master’s and the PhD level where in this level you have no social life…peroid… Indians here perform outstanding because we pride ourselves in educating our children to be doctors, engineers, lawyers, teachers, IT specialists etc..it has always been this way with us. I would have to thank our ancestors for instilling this value on us. They all spent every dollar on educating their kids…… Lakshmi, I’ve always been in awe of the citizens from your country who outperform and outshine others wherever they go to live. It’s happening in North America, UK and elsewhere. That’s because of the difficult educational system there and the emphasis which are placed on excelling at all levels. That’s why they all are valuable assets where ever they go to settle in life… Kuddos to them…… It’s Sunday, so we’ll chat on the morrow….
