Akanksha Puri aka Maa Parvati from the popular mythological television series Vighnaharta Ganesh made headlines during the lockdown as she decided to leave the show. Akanksha is very popular amongst her fans for her role as Maa Parvati and had an important role in the TRP of the show.
A Bt source who is close to the show informed that Akanksha has been approached again to play Maa Parvati. Nothing is sure for now but there is a strong buzz that the actress is approached again to play a mythological character.
The actress left the show on a good note and shared, “It has been a wonderful journey working on the show and it has been the best debut I could have asked for. It has been a hit show and I don’t think everyone gets this opportunity. The show is doing very well and it is going to continue working because there are many chapters in our mythology which can be shown. Now, it is 730 episodes, tomorrow it might complete 1000 episodes also but I had to take a call. I think I need more recognition and opportunities as an artist and I want more people to see me. This is my only reason.”
