Akshay Kharodia, who is known for essaying the role of Dev Pandya in the popular show Pandya Store, is all set to quit the TV show.
According to a report in TOI, Akshay wants to quit the show to spend more time with his wife Divya Punetha, who is expecting.
For the unversed, Akshay and Divya tied the knot last year. His wife is a gynecologist and is currently posted in Uttarakhand. Since The doctor can’t quit her job, Akshay has decided to be with her and take care of her. Divya is seven months pregnant and while it was a difficult decision especially because the show is doing really well on ratings, he decided to take the step.
When Akshay broke the news to the cast and crew, they all got emotional. The actor has already put in his papers last month and is currently serving a two-month notice period.
