Ali Baba: Ek Andaaz Andekha Chapter 2 is all set to go off-air and Siddharth Kumar Tewary’s new show Vanshaj, starring Anjali Tatrari and Mahir Pandhi, will replace the fantasy show. According to the reports Ali Baba will end early next month.
The makers have already informed the team about the show ending on June 10. The shooting will be wrapped up by the end of this month. Ali Baba, which hit the tube in August 2022, has been in the news for a tragic incident in December last year when lead actress Tunisha Sharma, who played the role of Mariam in the show reportedly died by suicide on December 24.
The male lead of the show, Sheezan Khan, was arrested a day later for abetment to suicide following a complaint filed by Tunisha’s mother Vanita Sharma. He was released on bail on March 5.
The makers replaced Sheezan with Abhishek Nigam as the male lead while Manul Chudasama was finalized as the new female lead. The show was also retitled as Ali Baba: Ek Andaaz Andekha Chapter 2.
