Aly Goni slams netizens for trolling cricketer KL Rahul; says “Izzat nahi de sakte kam se kam beizat mat karo”
Actor Aly Goni who is an avid sports admirer loves to watch cricket matches. Aly is often seen supporting players for their matches. In one of the recent ongoing international matches, cricketer KL Rahul was trolled by many for not playing well during the Australia match. Several fans came in his support and one of them was TV actor Aly Goni.
Aly spoke about it on his Twitter handle and asked netizens to be humble and support him. Mentioning that KL Rahul is one of the good players in the cricket team he added that every player has to go through tough times and even Virat Kohli and many other famous players face failures.
He wrote, “Izzat nahi de sakte kam se kam beizat mat karo… he is one of the finest batsmen of our country.. waqt sab ka bura aata hai.. Kohli ka bhi tha.. please respect #KLRahul he plays for our country Hum sab saath nahi denge toh kaun dega..”
While many cricket fans supported Aly and KL Rahul, some were against his comments. One of the fans wrote, “Bhai koi kl ka dushman nai hai , aur log kl ko ghar jaane k lie nai keh rhe hai , kuch senior cricketers bhi isilie vocal hue kyunki aap out of form ho aur bahut dino se ho isilie aap domestic ya Irani cup khel k confidence built kro aur runs kro then make a comeback”
Another tweet read “They are habituated to mock others when they are already down and maintain silence in their success”
One of the users wrote, “KL Rahul is already on a long-overdue time, with he himself be feeling glad to sit on the bench! Not sure who are these intelligent experts like Gambhir, Chopra, and selectors and team management wanting to give him more extended runs for just two overseas centuries over two years!”
Meanwhile, KL Rahul stays in the Test squad but loses the VC role against Australia.
