Amar Upadhyay on ‘Kyunkii Tum Hi Ho’ completing 50 episodes; says “It’s just the beginning”
Amar Upadhyay’s latest show, Kyunkii Tum Hi Ho which also marks his debut as a producer is the highest-watched Television show on the channel. The show recently aired its 50th episode. Amar who has been a part of the industry for around three decades is elated as a producer to witness the milestone his show has achieved.
When asked about it during a recent interview, Amar answered, “We’ve just started the show. 50 is just the beginning, add one more zero and we will make it 500 at least. The story is fantastic and the graph is going pretty well. I had to produce this show for a long time and the channel gave me this opportunity. We’ve lots of amazing twists and turns in the show.”
He added, “As a producer, I have just begun and I’ve to go miles and miles. TV is just the beginning, there is the web and films and lots of stuff that is coming. I want to produce films with one of the biggest actors in the country. I want to produce a film for Areman as well. We have superstars like Khans, Ajay Devgan, Hrithik Roshan, Ayushman, Varun, Ranbir, Ranveer, and many more. I want to make films with all of them.”
When asked about the one thing he thinks that has made the audience hooked to the show. Amar said, “The great twists and turns in the show had hooked the audience. The show looks so rich. I’ve given it all in the show as a producer. We’ve got good actors and a great team. Also, my partner Sohail Zaidi and all the credit goes to the team from the channel’s side and our team.”
