Amar Upadhyay’s entry in Nima Denzongpa cancelled; show expected to go off-air soon

Amar Upadhyay, who was recently seen in Bhool Bhulaiyaa was all set to enter Nima Denzongpa as a new lead after the exit of Iqbal Khan. According to the latest reports, his entry into the show has been canceled as the show is expected to go off-air soon.

According to the sources, the channel has decided to pull the plug on Nima Denzongpa. As for now the show has been given a two months extension and hence Amar’s entry in the show has been canceled.

Amar confirmed the news during an interview with ETimes TV and shared, “I’ve heard that Nima Denzongpa has got a three-months extension, I am sure about it. I was supposed to enter the show as I am doing another show with the production house, Jai Hanuman – Sankatmochan Naam Tiharo, I am playing Lord Ram’s character, it is a small cameo. They loved my work and they are lovely people to work with. This is the first time I am working with them. They wanted to work with me on Nima also as the hero had exited the show and they wanted to introduce a new lead. They were supposed to work on a character and write it. Everything was spoken and all the details were taken care of. Ultimately, the character was not written and I had to tell them to lock the character because I had other commitments.”

He further added, “They wanted to work with me but they were unable to finalize the track and the character. They were taking a long time and I couldn’t wait. But as I said they are amazing people to work with, very humble, and straightforward. Everyone on the sets is nice and are good to work with. Unfortunately, for Nima things couldn’t work out, but definitely, in the future, I want to work on them. I am getting a lot of queries from my fans if I am doing the show, so I would like to tell them that I am not doing the show.”
