Zee TV’s popular show, Meet has made a special place in the hearts of its viewers. The show is based on the story of Meet Hooda (essayed by Ashi Singh), who is fighting the age-old societal norms for gender roles regarding work and responsibilities.
Ashi Singh has been garnering a lot of love and appreciation for her role as Meet Hooda in the show. Meanwhile, the makers of the show are all set to surprise the viewers with new twists in the storyline. A new character – Shanty (Shantanu Rana) has been introduced in the show and is expected to create quite a stir in the story.
Ankit Vyas is essaying the role of this rich spoilt brat named Shanty. In a recent interview Ankit talked about it and shared, “While I feel grateful to be back on TV after a short break, I am even more thrilled to play the role of Shanty Rana in Zee TV’s Meet. He is the spoilt and egoistic son of a politician, who has no respect for girls and anyone who are below his social status. Shanty is an out-and-out negative guy who can change his behavior in front of people effortlessly and fool them. I must say that my character’s negativity will leave everyone shocked beyond belief as such a part hasn’t ever been written! I am quite excited about this part, and I hope people like me in this new role.”
