For those who may not know, Scotch was a gift from Sushant to Ankita, symbolizing their deep bond. Sadly, Scotch passed away in February of this year, making the post even more touching.

Sushant Singh Rajput began his acting career in 2008 with Ektaa Kapoor’s Kis Desh Mein Hai Meraa Dil. He gained significant recognition with Kapoor’s popular TV serial, Pavitra Rishta, which became a turning point in his career and personal life. It was on this show that he met Ankita Lokhande, and their on-screen characters, Manav and Archana, became a beloved TV couple.

Sushant also showcased his talent in dance reality shows like Zara Nachke Dikha and Jhalak Dikhla Jaa. His transition to Bollywood was marked by the 2013 film Kai Po Che!, followed by notable performances in movies such as Shuddh Desi Romance, Kedarnath, M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story, PK, and Detective Byomkesh Bakshy.

On June 14, 2020, Sushant was found dead in his Mumbai apartment at the age of 34. While his death was initially suspected to be a suicide, allegations of foul play have persisted.

Sushant’s elder sister, Shweta Singh Kirti, has been a vocal advocate for uncovering the truth behind his death. On this anniversary, she reiterated her plea for justice, stating, “Your death remains a mystery. I’ve pleaded for the truth, but today, for one last time, I’m asking everyone who can help: don’t we deserve to know what happened to our brother Sushant?”

Ankita and Sushant dated for seven years before ending their relationship in 2016. During her participation in Bigg Boss 17 in 2023, Ankita often spoke about Sushant, sometimes breaking down in tears.

Ankita eventually moved on, finding love with her now-husband, Vicky Jain, whom she started dating two and a half years after her breakup with Sushant.

The legacy of Sushant Singh Rajput continues to inspire and resonate with his fans and loved ones, and tributes like Ankita’s keep his memory alive.
