The episode starts with Anupama describing how a woman makes numerous sacrifices after marriage. She continues to describe how a woman transitions from being a housewife to managing household responsibilities and raising children, yet her duties never seem to end. Anupama highlights how even visiting her own mother requires permission.

Parag dismisses Anupama’s words, but Khyati defends her, stating she isn’t wrong. Khyati reminds everyone that as family members of Prem and Rahi, they should support them. She reveals that she sacrificed her career after marrying Parag, as Baa forbade her from working. She regrets failing her parents, who struggled to educate her.

Baa accuses Anupama of influencing Khyati, while Parag insists he has given Khyati everything. Khyati counters, saying, “A jail is still a jail, even if it’s made of gold,” and urges Parag to let Prem choose his own path. She challenges him, asking if he would abandon his business to become a caterer. Baa silences Khyati again, but Meeta, an MBA student, questions why her father invested in her education if she isn’t allowed to work. She criticizes the Kothari household for its restrictive environment.

Baa demands that Anil control Meeta, but Anil apologizes to both Meeta and Khyati for not understanding them. Meanwhile, Pakhi blames Anupama for the chaos, but Anupama tells her to stay out of it. Raja argues that Prem and Rahi should be free to pursue their education and dreams. In response, Vasundhara slaps Raja and accuses Anupama of breaking the family, with Parag joining in the blame.

Prem and Rahi decide to leave the house. Vasundhara pleads with Rahi to stop Prem, but Rahi refuses, saying she was willing to embrace household duties, yet Vasundhara never gave her a chance. As they prepare to leave, Vasundhara warns them that their departure will be the death of her. Parag blames Anupama for taking his son away and vows she will regret it. Anupama, however, welcomes Prem and Rahi into the Shah house.

Gautam accuses Anupama and Rahi of dividing the family, but Anil intervenes, urging peace. Parag remains adamant, refusing to compromise. Meanwhile, Pakhi accuses Anupama of destroying Rahi’s home and declares that no child deserves a mother like her. Leela and Hasmuk support Anupama, who explains that Pakhi’s anger stems from her shattered dreams involving Ishani and Raja.

Prem and Rahi move into their new home, with Rahi firmly by Prem’s side. Paritosh and Pakhi question if Prem will ever return to the Kothari house, but Anupama defends their decision. Meanwhile, Pakhi plots with Ishani to manipulate the situation to gain favor with the Kotharis.

Precap: Anupama conducts dance lessons for prisoners. She notices Raghav’s injury and questions him about it. Shortly after, she receives a shocking call regarding Rahi.
