Anupama thanks Anuj for help. Anuj tells Anupama that if she wants to refuse to do catering for his marriage functions then she can refuse, and says there is no compulsions, I will make Shruti understand. Anupama says I agreed to do, after thinking else would have refused then itself. She goes. Anuj also goes. The contestants come for Superstar chef competition and waves their hands. Anupama also comes there. The Judges clap for them and congrats them for being selected for the superstar chef USA 2024 competition. She introduces herself as Sally Paka, and introduces Chef Hitachi Wang and Keith Glowstr. Hitachi tells that they will be testing their skills for the various rounds, to see if they can cook and be a great chef, and these rounds are not going to be an easy competition. Keith tells that it is not going to be a cake walk, and tells that they will tested on their speech, innovation and brilliance in culinary expert and if they dont match upto their expectation then they will be oust. Sally sees Anupama having the plaster on his hand and asks her. Anupama tels that it is a small injury. Keith tells that she can’t do it. Anupama tells that she can cook with her left hand. Sally says lets be practical, I understand your passion but. Anupama tells that she has raised 4 children and used to cook food with child in her hand. Anupama asks them to give her a chance and says you can oust me if I couldn’t cook. Keith says if I said no, then you shall leave. He asks her to try next year. He asks her to leave. Anupama is walking out and thinks of Yashdeep, Toshu and Vanraj’s words. She gets teary eyes. Sally asks Anupama to stop, and says one minute.

Kavya gets happy to know that Dimpy told her decision to Vanraj. She says Didi called me so I have to leave. Dimpy says its ok, and says I didn’t know that I have to talk so soon. Kavya asks her to go to court if Vanraj tries to snatch Ansh from her. Vanraj hears and claps, and asks if this is family or match stick box. He asks if this is family and asks them to call police, and complain against him with all charges. Kavya asks if he is right to snatch her son from her. Vanraj shouts. Dimpy asks him not to shout.

Sally tells Anupama that she has the right to disagree to the fellow judge and tells that she is doing that. Keith says you are favouring her, just because she is a woman.

Dimpy says sorry to vanraj and says I don’t like to talk to you like this, but what to do, you don’t see my pain. She says my own father has broken relation with me and you are more than my own father but you never regarded me as your daughter, else you would have fought for me like you fight for Pakhi. She tells him that She don’t want Ansh to call her loser and tells that he needs a father, and she will not separate him from Vanraj. She tells that she dont want to marry against her father’s wish again.

Sally tells that she is not giving a chance to the woman, but to a person, and tells that her gender, race, color, nationality has nothing to do with my decision. She says she had a bad accident and then also she has come here, and this is inspiring and this is not just cooking competition. Hitachi agrees with Sally and says lets give her a competition. Sally asks her to come back to her place and says we are giving you a chance, but not extra privilege or extra time. Keith says if you fail then will be thrown out. Anupama says ok.

Vanraj comes out of the house and sits on the bench. He sees Anuj on the other bench and asks what you are doing here in the afternoon. Anuj says even you are sitting here. Vanraj says I didn’t have a big business like you. Anuj says but you have a job. Vanraj asks if he is thinking how Anupama will cook with her one hand in the competition. Anuj says you must be thinking how to control Kavya and Dimpy. Vanraj says you must be thinking Shruti’s name on the card and Anupama’s name in the heart. He says as far as I know, you are a one woman man, Shruti has invited us, so we will come.

He says it is strange that I have come for Anupama and your wedding and now Anupama will come in Shruti and your marriage. He asks him not to do typical filmy thing, that leave Shruti on the mandap and marry Anupama. He goes. Anuj looks on.

The first round begins, Keith asks the contestants to make whatever they want and like. Hitachi says something authentic. Sally says your signature dish, you will get 30 minutes. Anupama looks shocked. Hitachi says speed and presentation is all that what matters. Anupama thinks of the past and thinks she has come to America due to cooking and says destiny shall support her. She asks herself not to be scared, and show her talent on the big platform. The judges ask them to pick the stuff from the supply room and gives them 3 mins for that. Keith says you have 30 mins to prepare your dish. All the participants rush to pick their stuff.

Anuj thinks Vanraj was right and thinks he was thinking about Anupama. Shruti calls him and asks him to come and pick her up to taste the dishes for their sangeet in spice and chutney. He is hesitant to go, but Shruti insists. He agrees. All the contestants bring their stuff. Anupama’s tray falls down from her hand, but she picks it all. The Judges say the time starts now. Anupama tries and gets nervous. The Judges look on as she is just standing. She recalls her journey in America and recalls Vanraj and Toshu laughing on her, and Yashdeep talking on phone and saying that he will lose the restaurant. She recalls making food holding the baby in her hand. She thinks I have done it many times, and I can do it today itself. She says Jai Maa Annapurna and puts celery on the stove. Keith asks if she is crazy, why she is wasting the time. Sally says it is an Indian tradition. Anupama checks the time. Others are almost ready. Anupama cuts the raw banana and brinjal and starts cooking. The Judges check how everyone is making. Keith asks Anupama, what you are doing? Anupama looks on.
