Actor Sudhanshu Pandey, who is currently essaying the role of Vanraj in the TRP topper show Anupamaa, recently shared a throwback picture from his modeling days. The actor shared a pic where he can be seen walking a ramp. Sudhanshu also shared that he was one of the top models in the country at the age of 21-22.
He wrote, “SOMETIMES ITS GOOD TO REMIND YOURSELF ABOUT WHERE U STARTED N WHERE YOU HAVE REACHED , SO THAT WHEN U LOOK BACK YOU LOOK UP AND THANK GOD FOR ALL THAT HE HAS BLESSED YOU WITH FOREVER GRATEFUL TO MAHAKAAL 🙏🙏🙏 THE JOURNEY BEGAN THEN N CONTINUES TILL NOW N I CANT THANK HIM ENOUGH (This photo is when I was barely 20-21 and was already one of the top models in the country ..) #model #fashion #thankgod JAI MAHAKAAL.”
During a recent interview with ETimes TV, Sudhanshu spoke about the importance and reach of Television. He said, “I would say that the audience base of television is very different from films, and web series. The television audience is very different. It largely appeals to the middle-class section of our country and it is the largest. We all belong to that middle class and we all come from there. Today we might be in a better state but our ethics, and values are all middle class. The kind of popularity you get from that audience obviously is at different levels altogether. They see you every day. I think most of the actors from the industry, the biggies, be it Mr. Bachchan, Karan Johar, or Salman Khan, their popularity increased multifold after doing television. Bachchan Saab has mostly spoken about KBC and how it revived his career. So has Salman with Dus Ka Dum and Bigg Boss because people relate Salman Khan with Bigg Boss as he spends 3/4 months of his year on television and it gives him a separate fan base. Definitely, popularity is on a different level with television, I think it is a blessing.”
Along with the small screen, Sudhanshu has worked in close to 45 films. The actor has starred in some of the biggest hits of Bollywood including Singham, Singh Is King, Robot 2.0, Murder 2, and The Myth starring Jacky Chan amongst others.
