The beloved show “Anupamaa,” headlined by Rupali Ganguly and Gaurav Khanna, has been a consistent favorite among audiences, reigning atop TRP charts since its inception. However, recent weeks have witnessed a decline in its popularity, prompting producers to introduce a significant narrative shift.
The storyline unfolds with Anupamaa’s five-year hiatus, now venturing into America. Anupamaa, managing her Kathiyawadi recipe YouTube channel, finds herself in the States, assisting Devika at The Gujarat Plate, an Indian restaurant. However, upon her arrival, she faces adversity as the restaurant is closed, leaving her stranded on the streets, robbed of her essentials—luggage, passport, and money.
Amidst her struggles, Anupamaa secures a job as a waitress while encountering Anuj, residing with Choti Anu, now Aadhya, and Shruti, portrayed by Sukirti Kandpal, engaged to Anuj. Aadhya harbors animosity towards Anupamaa, aiming to keep Shruti distant from her and hastening Anuj’s marriage to Shruti, attempting to prevent Anupamaa’s involvement.
Adding a new dimension to the narrative, reports hint at the entry of “Ishqbaaz” actress Dishi Duggal, speculated to catalyze Anupamaa and Anuj’s union, although details about her role remain under wraps. Post the leap, the show introduced several new talents like Aurra Bhatnagar, Trishaan Shah, and Aadhya Barot, while retaining Sudhanshu Pandey, Madalsa Sharma, Nishi Saxena, Alpana Buch, and others.
Presently, “Anupamaa” weaves dual tracks—one delineating Anupamaa’s life in America and the other focusing on the tumultuous dynamics within the Shah household, witnessing Vanraj resuming his toxic leadership.
The show’s captivating turn with Anupamaa’s American venture, the arrival of new characters, and the intense plotlines hint at intriguing twists, captivating viewers with its multi-dimensional storytelling.
