Apollena introduces Shlok to her family. Dadi affectionately calls him laddu, a nickname she gave him, and offers him special laddoos, which he accepts after taking her blessings. Irani questions why Shlok, who never seeks blessings, suddenly felt compelled to do so. Shlok admits he doesn’t know but felt it was right. Dadi welcomes them inside, and Neil informs them that the highway is blocked due to an accident. Dadi convinces Shlok to stay the night, emphasizing Irani’s safety and the delicious food they have prepared. Shlok calls his mom via video to explain the situation, assuring her that Dadi’s family is better than they thought. Saraswati, stubbornly refuses to eat until he returns home.
During dinner, Neil jokes with Dadi, and Madhu serves Shlok, who compliments her cooking, surprising Neil with his politeness. Dadi asks Madhu to serve Shlok’s “sister,” but Irani drops a glass, asserting she is not his sister. Shlok jokes that she’s his brother without facial hair. Later, Dadi arranges for Shlok to sleep in Apollena’s room while she sleeps with Madhu, but Shlok opts to sleep in the hall, fearing his father’s reaction if he inconveniences the family.
Mahadev returns home, and Saraswati questions him about an income tax raid. Mahadev assures her he has nothing to hide, having paid his taxes. Saraswati expresses concern about her sons being away, but Mahadev prioritizes Apollena’s safety, stating that Girdhar entrusted her to him. Saraswati lies about eating and grows frustrated at Mahadev’s perceived indifference to their sons’ absence.
Apollena gives Shlok a mosquito net. When he jokes about the stars, she explains their scientific significance, annoying him. She questions why he ate jackfruit despite disliking it, and he credits Madhu’s love for the gesture. As she helps him fix the net, she accidentally falls on him and apologizes. Neil intervenes, warns Shlok to stay away from his sister, and helps him instead.
Pallavi defends herself in the court, seeking bail. The judge requires a guarantor, and Girdhar volunteers. The judge warns Girdhar that he will face arrest if Pallavi fails to return to custody.
