The episode starts with media reporters gathering around Apollena and asking her family to move aside as they need to question Apollena. They bombards her with questions, asking how did she get IASA internship, what did she do for that, etc. Family feels upset seeing Apollena getting sudden attention she receives. Sangeeta feels humiliated by the scene. Apollena tries to defuse the situation by telling the reporters they can ask her about the IASA internship later since the focus should be on her sister’s wedding today. However, the media argues that the wedding is insignificant compared to the news of her IASA selection, which would boost their TRPs. Neil confirms Apollena’s selection, and while Renu acknowledges it as great news, she criticizes the reporters for disrupting an engagement ceremony in such a manner.
Renu’s husband steps forward to give an interview, attributing Apollena’s success to the strong support of her family. Despite his efforts, the reporters persist in questioning Apollena. Amidst the chaos, Sangeeta loses her balance and falls, prompting Renu to console her. Sensing an opportunity, Lali instigates everyone against Apollena, accusing her of overshadowing Sangeeta’s special day. She points out that while Sangeeta had dressed beautifully for her engagement, Apollena stole the spotlight, causing Sangeeta to feel humiliated. Girdhar defends Apollena, clarifying that she didn’t push Sangeeta; the fall was accidental.
Lali’s words upset Sangeeta, who storms off in anger. Renu, visibly distressed, accuses Apollena of ruining Sangeeta’s big day. She predicts that Sangeeta will shut herself away and refuse to speak to anyone. Akshay offers to console her, but Vasudha discourages him, fearing it might worsen the situation and bring further embarrassment. She regrets her association with Apollena’s family, blaming them for the drama.
Frustrated by the ongoing turmoil, Apollena confronts the reporters, demanding they leave and stop ruining her sister’s wedding. She emphasizes that her sister’s happiness is her priority and promises to answer their questions the next day. Reluctantly, the reporters leave. Apollena then assures Renu that she will convince Sangeeta to return. Renu warns her that if she fails, she will cut ties with her forever.
Apollena approaches Sangeeta and pleads for forgiveness, explaining that she never intended to ruin her ceremony. Sangeeta, however, voices her lifelong frustration of always living in Apollena’s shadow. She recalls being second to Apollena in everything and wanting her engagement day to be her moment to shine. Instead, she feels overshadowed once again. Apollena apologizes sincerely, insisting she never called the reporters and begging Sangeeta to open the door.
Renu continues blaming Apollena for the events, accusing Girdhar of favoritism. She claims he brought Apollena in a grand horse carriage and even invited the reporters, disregarding Sangeeta’s feelings. Girdhar defends himself, asserting that he sees both girls as equal and insisting that sibling conflicts are normal. Vasudha, however, laments the decision to marry into a family she believes has brought disgrace. Akshay reassures everyone that he will fulfill his promise to Sangeeta and console her. Later, both Apollena and Akshay work together to convince Sangeeta to let go of her anger. Through their combined efforts, Sangeeta begins to reconcile with the situation.
