Saraswati secretly meets a black magician with Ira, desperate to understand why Shlok, who once liked Ira, suddenly started hating her and married Apollena. She believes Apollena has trapped Shlok under a spell. The magician, noticing Saraswati’s jewels, deceitfully confirms her fears and claims no one can save him. Saraswati pleads for help and invites the magician to perform a ritual at home.
During the ritual, the magician states that if Apollena has cast a spell, the smoke will turn black—and it does. Ira manipulates Saraswati, reinforcing her belief that Apollena is using black magic. Rupa arrives and questions their actions, but Saraswati silences her. The magician then burns charcoal, secretly adding a powder to intensify the effect. Unable to withstand the smoke, Apollena and Shlok leave their room and confront Saraswati. Apollena calls the magician a fraud, but the magician counters by insisting Apollena is deceiving everyone.
Tensions escalate when the magician beats Apollena with a broom, prompting Shlok to defend his wife and demand the magician leave. However, the magician continues to manipulate Saraswati, convincing her that Apollena’s spell must be broken. When Apollena insists that black magic is a scam, Saraswati refuses to listen, asserting that it’s her house and no one can force her to stop. The magician then demands more money for performing 100 hawans, and Saraswati not only pays her but also hands over her necklace.
The magician instructs Saraswati to make Apollena drink a special powder-laced water to break the so-called spell. Meanwhile, Apollena struggles to make Shlok understand that the magician is a fraud, but he insists that his mother believes in her. When Saraswati orders Apollena and Shlok to drink the water, Apollena refuses, sensing danger. Saraswati threatens her, and an argument erupts between Apollena and Shlok. To prove herself, Shlok forces Apollena to drink it—leading to her sudden collapse.
