Archana Gautam’s courageous journey on Khatron Ke Khiladi 13: Overcoming injury with fortitude
Archana Gautam, who is ready to display her adventurous spirit on Khatron Ke Khiladi 13, encountered an injury while performing a daring stunt in Cape Town, South Africa. In a recent interview, Archana shared insights about her injury, the stitches she received, and expressed her gratitude that her face remained unharmed.
Reflecting on the task that led to her injury, Archana stated, “It is common to sustain injuries during the tasks. I won’t let fear hold me back; I joined Khatron Ke Khiladi to win the show. If I desire the trophy, I have to make certain sacrifices. In life, we encounter obstacles. The stunt in which I got injured was extraordinary. It was a game of destiny. We didn’t play any part in the task; everything was left to fate. I had a fantastic time performing the stunt.”
Archana went on to share that she received three stitches on her chin, remarking, “I had three stitches on my chin. I was very frightened, and initially, I refused to get stitches because it was my first cut. However, the doctor advised me not to be afraid and explained that if I didn’t get stitches, I would have a permanent scar on my face. So, I agreed. I was very scared when he administered the injection, but I’m relieved that everything went well. Everyone took great care of me.”
As an artist in the entertainment industry, Archana, known for her appearances on shows like Bigg Boss 16 and Entertainment Ki Raat Housefull, expressed her gratitude that her face remained unscathed. She said, “I am extremely grateful that it wasn’t a major injury. I thank the Almighty; I am thankful to Mata Rani that nothing serious happened. I have just begun my career, and it has only been a year. I consider myself fortunate that the injury is on my chin, making it less visible. In my profession, where the face is everything, this is a significant blessing. Regarding the injury, it will be a lifelong mark that reminds me of my participation in KKK 13. It is a medal for me, symbolizing my first victory, and I am extremely proud of it.”
Archana also discussed the reactions of her fellow contestants when she sustained the injury and was rushed to the hospital. She shared, “All my co-contestants were worried when I got injured, and even Rohit Shetty sir asked if I was doing fine. After returning from the hospital, I met everyone and assured them that I was okay.”
