Star Plus is all set to bring a new show titled ‘Ek Bhram Sarvagun Sampanna’. The show will star popular television actress Shrenu Parikh in the lead role. After playing lot of positive roles like Astha, Gauri, etc. For the first time she will be seen in a negative role as ‘Jhanvi’. Zain Imam and Tanvi Dogra from ‘Jiji Ma’ fame will play main male and female leads respectively. Tina Philips who earlier played the role of Astha of star plus’ ‘Ek Astha Aise Bhi’ will be seen in a pivotal role.
The promo of this show got released. According to the promo Shrenu’s character Jhanvi is compared to a praying mantis, which cannibalises its mate. During mating, the female bites off the male’s dead and devours his corpse for nourishment.
Jhanvi is seen performing the dutiful ‘bahu’ duties and praying to God. However, the voiceover background suggests that Jhanvi, who is the ideal ‘bahu’ of a very big and reputed family, is planning the destruction of her own family.
The promo looks amazing and perfect, except for the stills of the praying mantis in the beginning (those visuals were very creepy).
Shrenu’s expressions in this promo, especially the part where she gives the camera an evil smirk created curiosity among the audience. Another promo of this show get released, unlike the first one, the new promo draws a reference to a spider and leaves the audience wondering about Shrenu’s evil intentions. The promo certainly has piqued the curiosity of audience.
The show earlier was named as ‘Meri Biwi Ka Sasural’ which would air in Star Bharat and the makers had roped in Zain Imam and Tanvi Dogra in lead roles respectively whereas Shrenu Parikh in negative role. However, the show, not only shifted channels but finally moved to Star Plus, but also underwent a title change and has now been named ‘Ek Bhram Sarvagun Sampanna’. The show will air from 22nd April at 7:00pm slot in star plus.

Only for zain imam but since I’ve not seen ib I completely believe shrenu that she is going to nail it. Wish that in place of tanvi dogra other female lead hoti.??????
