Ashish Dixit Opens Up on Missed Bigg Boss 17 Opportunity and Embracing Fatherhood
Actor Ashish Dixit, renowned for his role in the TV show Palkon Ki Chhaon Mein 2, recently revealed that he was slated to enter Bigg Boss 17 as a contestant but couldn’t make it for undisclosed reasons. Despite the missed opportunity, Ashish shared his contentment with the plans destiny has in store for him.
In a recent interview, Ashish disclosed, “I was finalized by the makers as a contestant, but due to some reason, I couldn’t make it to the show this year. However, let’s see what is explored next.” Expressing his commitment to entertain the audience, he added, “I was approached for many fiction shows, but as I was in talks with Bigg Boss, I didn’t pay much attention to them. Soon, I will return on screen with some powerful role to entertain my audience.”
Reflecting on the current season of Bigg Boss, Ashish shared his perspective on the contestant list, stating, “Looking at the contestant list in the house, I’m quite happy that I didn’t enter this year. The casting didn’t look interesting to me.” He expressed his enjoyment in watching Ankita and extended his support, particularly in the recent clash between TV actors and YouTubers.
Ashish emphasized the hard work put in by TV actors to elevate the small screen’s popularity, acknowledging the efforts of YouTubers and influencers while maintaining the importance of mutual respect.
Currently relishing family time after the birth of his first child, Ashish expressed gratitude for the pleasant phase of his life. He stated, “If I had taken Bigg Boss this year, I would have missed out on this amazing and pleasant phase of my life. Whatever happens, it happens for our best.”
