The episode starts with Krishna Maa/KM earning 50 paisa from the labor work. Krishna Vajpayee/KV says he is so helpless that he has to take his wife’s earned money. KM says they shall think themselves not as couple but as parents who are working hard for their children. He nods yes. She says let us go home separately. He says let’s go.
Shyamlal starts singing Ram katha at a temple and starts coughing vigorously. A person who hired him for the pooja scolds him for ruining the pooja and insulting him in front of everyone. Shyamlal says he is feeling dizzy and weak and doesn’t think he can sing a story. Man scolds him for wasting their time and says he will call someone else and pay that person. Shyamlal gets worried that he will lose the money he would have earned by singing
Dayal’s wife peeps into Atal’s house and asks Saraswati about KM. Saraswati says she has gone to meet ill Tripathi’s wife. Dayal’s wife says she doesn’t think KM has gone there. Awadh asks why is she interfering. Dayal’s wife says she must have gone to do labor work hiding from everyone. Saraswati returns and asks if she knows everything about others, it’s harmful to have a wrong knowledge. She drags Dayal’s wife inside her house and shows what Awadh is writing. Dayal’s wife says she doesn’t know to write. KM says her son is writing an application form for work and will get a job, and even if he doesn’t, she knows what to do and doesn’t need other’s interference. She says a good neighbor doesn’t trouble their neighbors and not taunt them. Dayal’s son tells her mother that his shoe is torn since 2 weeks and she hasn’t paid attention to it at all. KM says instead of peeping into other’s house, she should have concentrated into her own house. Dayal’s wife angrily takes her son away from there.
Prem and Sada happily hug KM. Awadh says they are happy seeing her apt reply to Dayal’s wife. KV returns home next. KM says even came just now and had gone to meet Tripathi’s wife. KV asks where are babuji and Atal. KM says they have gone for Ram katha. A British officer stops Ram katha and says they are praying an idol which doesn’t have any existence of it’s own at all. Atal asks what did he say. Officer repeats that his god doesn’t exist, neither his powers.
