Avika expressed high regard for intimacy coordinator Krishna Bhatt, commending her professionalism and the comfortable environment she fosters on set. “Having Krishna Bhatt on our set was the highlight for me. Her experience from working on all of Emraan Hashmi’s films and beyond makes her adept at setting the right atmosphere and managing the process effectively,” Avika shared.

She also praised director Vikram Bhatt for his sensitivity and awareness of any discomfort among the cast during intimate scenes. Avika said, “And Vikram sir is a pro. If there’s any feeling of embarrassment on set, he feels it more than we do. He gets very embarrassed most of the time.”

When asked about how technicians or directors can enhance her comfort during intimate scenes, she emphasized the necessity of understanding the actors’ comfort levels. She noted that in her films, there is no visible nudity.

She added, “Of course, there’s lovemaking and all of that, but my body remains quite hidden. That’s the director’s way of showing it, and this discussion happens well in advance.”

Avika also recalled instances where she insisted that her directors document everything clearly, underscoring the importance of clarity for her comfort.

Reflecting on her co-stars, Avika mentioned their considerate nature. She appreciated how they always sought her consent before any physical interaction, even something as simple as touching her hand.
