We have that Gujarat connection.” Additionally, she met with the Vietnamese Prime Minister, who expressed admiration for her work. “The minute we met, he told me, ‘Of course, I recognize you, and I absolutely know how important you are to our country.’ It was really beautiful,” Gor reflected.
For Gor, this experience underscores the global appeal of the Indian entertainment industry. “We have a huge entertainment industry with successful films and series that travel around the world. It’s a very proud feeling. I have traveled to Vietnam, Indonesia, Kazakhstan; people appreciate and enjoy Indian entertainment,” she noted.
Sharing her family’s reaction to the event, Gor revealed how proud they were of her achievement. “I felt really proud while talking to my family about the event. My father’s reaction was particularly touching. There’s a video of him picking me up, and it was so sweet. My grandfather, who was in the Air Force, would have been thrilled to see this,” she said. Gor also mentioned that this event has changed how her relatives view her work. “Relatives now value what I do more. This has shifted their perception and brought a new level of respect,” she concluded.
