“I should show something bigger than this to scare you?” Aditi asked after she was over with her non stop laughter. “Hmm, you toh keep saying that who would be a bigger ghost than me, a bigger pianist than me, etc. Now do something so I should take you serious that you’re a ghost,” he said and smirked. She smirked back. “Me? A ghost? Not at all, I m just a human being, like you, a normal girl, what makes you think that I am a ghost?” she asked and rolled her eyes. “Okay then, you had some work, right?”

He asked and she nodded and left from there to the kitchen.

Next day, Neil was gone the whole time and Aditi was left alone at home.
Aditi’s POV:
I know that I m the same ghost who has been living alone in this house for about three years and came in disguise of the caretaker but back then, I was used to loneliness and still I m used to this loneliness, but back then I could do anything without getting bothered of others but now if I do it, Neil would be bothered by me, it’s his house now.

Already, he saw me disappearing for once when I was playing piano and he was new here. I think I m the one who is bothered by someone else interrupting my loneliness but then at the same time, I don’t want him to go. I think we all have our own personality, unique and distinctive, and at the same time, I think that our own unique and distinctive personality blends with the wind, with the footsteps in the street, with the noises around the corner, and with the silence of memory, which is the great producer of the ghosts.

I’ve got quite a vivid imagination and I’m easily overwhelmed by sensations and things that are beautiful or scary. Out of 100, only 20% believes in ghost and very few have seen a ghost, I think everyone are probably haunted by their own ghosts than real ones. In the main, ghosts are said to be forlorn and generally miserable, if not downright depressed. The jolly ghost is rare and I m that rare ghost, I like to joke but before Neil, I had no one to joke with. But there is no single soul on Earth who have no sadness.

I had a lonely life and now my afterlife is also lonely, who will make a ghost girl into a ghost girlfriend? Even if Neil does, then he will continue to grow while I will remain of the same age forever, I am the lovely suicide girl, I m trapped and I can’t go anywhere unless God forgives me for my act, unless my soulmate comes and sets me free to give my darkness filled afterlife the light it deserves, the man who can hear me and see me, that he could communicate with me and love me, fall in love with me by his own will, and I have to love him back, it has to be true love or nothing… I also can’t leave until I feel remorseful for what I did, unless my culprit is punished, unless I m done with my unfinished business. Maybe Neil is the one, that’s what I feel as I look at him, when I talk to him, maybe, just maybe he is the one, who knows?

End of POV.
An Uber car pulled up at The Angel Manor from which Neil came out and paid the driver, he unlocked the house and entered inside and closed the door behind him. He settled on the couch and his gaze went on the white cloth on the armchair, he realized it was there even before he entered that house but his attention never went there, he stood up and went towards it and lifted the white clothe.

He realized it was a little heavy and something was hidden in between it, basically something was actually covered inside it. He was about to uncover it but he startled as he felt a hand on his shoulder and the clothe along with the thing fell on the arm chair. He turned to meet his gaze with the owner of the hand, he sighed as it was Aditi. “Dinner is ready,” she said and he nodded and they both went to the dining table and their hands touched a little, a tingling sensation traveled in his body.

They sat to eat together. The unusual thing was that she was wearing sunglasses which she never wore before. He dismissed it and continued to eat. When they both were done with eating, she was leaving but he stopped her. She turned to him and removed her glasses. Her eyes were bloodshot. “Have you been crying?” he asked and she shook her head and left from there. He felt something strange but brushed off his thoughts and forgot about the thing covered in the white clothe and went to his room. He laid down and didn’t knew when he fell asleep.

Neil woke up the next morning and as he freshened up and got out of his room, he was greeted with an awesome aroma. He walked out following the aroma and came to kitchen. He saw Aditi with his back towards her cooking something. “What did you cook?”

He asked getting attracted. “Pancakes,” she replied. “Wow, looks like no one is a bigger cook also over here,” he said and she chuckled. “Of course not,” she replied with a smile and served him. As usual, they ate together. He was getting ready to go when he saw her putting flowers in each flower pot. “Are they jasmine?” he asked and she glared at him. “Rose?” he asked and she creased her eyebrows and glanced at him. “Ok, so then you tell,” he said and she looked at him. “They are fake, and you’re a blo*dy fool and these are phool (flower).” She went from there and he chuckled and once again his gaze went on the white clothe along with a thing hidden between it’s folds. He took it once again in his hand and unwrapped the clothe, his eyes widened.
