Ayesha Singh reflects on her journey in Ghum Hai Kisike Pyaar Mein

Ayesha Singh recently concluded her two-and-a-half-year journey on the show Ghum Hai Kisike Pyaar Mein, and now she is eagerly awaiting another role that can match the caliber of her previous one. She talked about it in a recent interview and shared, “I had previously played a few small roles in TV shows, and then I got my big break with Ghum Hai Kisike Pyaar Mein. Our show began during the lockdown, and I vividly remember how we relocated and worked within a bio-bubble. The show recently took a leap, and my character’s part came to an end. Overall, it has been an incredible experience. Now, I want to detach myself from my character Sai and move forward.”

Ayesha refutes the notion that the show was dragging in recent months, leading to the decision for a leap. She states, “I don’t believe I am in a position to comment on leaps because such decisions are influenced by market forces. The show’s creators have a better understanding of the broader story, not us actors. I have no regrets; I am happy that the story is progressing, and I am grateful for the opportunities the role and the show have given me.”

There have been rumors of tension between Ayesha and actress Aishwarya Sharma. When asked about it, Ayesha responds, “I have been asked this question several times… I don’t want to add fuel to the fire by saying anything. We had our own spaces and respected that, giving our best to the show. There is nothing more to comment on regarding either her or my co-actor Neil Bhatt because the show is now over, and we are all on different paths.”

Speaking of paths, Ayesha reveals that her parents always wanted her to pursue a career in law. She shares, “Even after one year of Ghum Hai Kisike Pyaar Mein, my mother wanted me to pursue law. Of course, they are happy today to see where I have reached.”
