The television series “Baazi Ishq Ki,” produced by Yash Patnaik, which made its debut on television screens in March of this year, is set to undergo a significant time jump spanning six months. This progression will coincide with the departure of Khushbu Rajendra, the original lead character, along with most of the key cast members. Notably, Puneett Chouksey, who plays the male lead, and Ritu Chaudhry Seth, have been retained for their roles in the show. To carry the narrative forward, the production team has brought in fresh talents to join the ensemble, with Tina Philip being cast as the new female lead.
A credible source affiliated with the production shared, “Tina will portray the character of a psychologist, a role that stands in stark contrast to Puneett’s persona. In addition to Tina, Shahab Khan, Sharmila Goenka, and Lovish Saini have been confirmed to portray Tina’s on-screen parents and brother. Meanwhile, Afzaal Khan, Melissa Pais, and Sai Ranade are set to take on the roles of Puneett’s new family members.”
Tina’s previous acting credits include appearances in shows such as “Ek Aastha Aisi Bhee,” “Ek Bhram Sarvagun Sampanna,” “Aye Mere Humsafar,” “Mann Ki Awaaz Pratigya 2,” and “Kumkum Bhagya,” where she replaced Pooja Banerjee.
On a personal note, Tina has been romantically involved with Nikhil Sharma, a relationship that blossomed during their collaboration on her debut television series, “Ek Aastha Aisi Bhee.” Interestingly, their on-screen roles were that of siblings in a family drama. The couple became engaged in August 2019 in Delhi, with plans for a wedding in April 2020. Unfortunately, due to the pandemic, their wedding had to be postponed. Addressing the subject of their pending nuptials two years later, Tina expressed, “The last time we made plans, fate had different designs. This time, we are entrusting all the planning to destiny (smiles).
