Bade Achhe Lagte Hain 2 fame Disha Parmar is a woman who is upfront about her views, and is known for never mincing her words. As we celebrate Women’s Day today, Disha in a recent interview talked about being a woman today, the work she is doing, and more.
She shared, ”I think it’s a great time to be a woman because you’ve finally got the world listening and taking note of your hard work and accomplishments. In all fields, women every day are shattering glass ceilings! Women have got the inherent tenacity, patience, and perseverance to succeed. We just need to really believe in ourselves. We need to stop feeling guilty about not being at home when we’re at work and about not being at work when we’re at home. While I have tasted success, I believe I have a lot more to do and prove. For now, I am doing my best at work, hopefully raising the bar. For me, Integrity, charity, and compassion are the core of my character, and perfection is not the key, progress is.”
Meanwhile, Disha has been garnering a lot of love and appreciation for her performance in the show and also for on-screen chemistry with Nakuul Mehta.
