Sneha Namanandi recently made her daily soap debut with Bade Acche Lagte Hain 2. In a recent interview, the actress talked about it and shared, “TV has evolved in the last few years. When I was a kid, I used to watch these television shows which were quite dramatic. In fact, I would say overdramatic. Now me being a part of a television show, I can see a lot of differences. There’s a lot of reality that I think actually jumped into television shows because the generation has changed. I’m 26, so people of my generation would not like watching dramatic stuff, you know the 90s kids. We like it more real and so, we honestly like watching the kind of shows where there’s reality involved,”
She added, “Because of OTT, the number of television audience has gone down. I can see that now also when I’m doing the show, a lot of people watch shows on OTT only. You can also see a lot of shows which are too real on TV, so people will definitely make it a point to watch it. But yes, I will definitely agree with the point that because of OTT, TV target audience has gone down”.
She concluded by saying, “I like watching comedy shows because I like to be happy. As for my work, I am part of a daily soap. I enjoy doing the drama show a lot because I’ve never been a part of a daily soap. So yes, it’s fun,”
