Popular television actress Asmita Sood, renowned for her role in “Badtameez Dil,” is gearing up for a magical union with Gujarati businessman Siddh Mehta. The couple, engaged since September last year, is all set to exchange vows in a picturesque destination wedding in Goa during the first week of February.
A close source spilled the beans on the intimate celebration, stating, “Asmita and Siddh will tie the knot in Goa in early February. The wedding festivities are designed to be an intimate affair, with only close friends and family in attendance. The two-day event will feature a sangeet and cocktail party on the first day, followed by haldi and pheras on the second day. Industry friends, including Zain Imam and Vidisha Srivastava, are expected to grace the occasion.”

Asmita, last seen in the TV show “Janam Janam Ka Saath,” has been in a relationship with Siddh for around a year-and-a-half. Their love story blossomed through mutual friends, and they also collaborated professionally when Asmita organized a music festival. Recalling the proposal in Prague, Asmita shared, “Siddh proposed with a beautiful ring in Prague, planning a surprise in a park. He expressed his desire to spend his life traveling the world with me. We became friends during a music festival I organized, and our common interests brought us closer. The wedding is around the corner, and we are ecstatic.”
Highlighting Siddh’s qualities, Asmita previously mentioned, “Siddh has a wonderful family, and he runs his own business in Rajkot. While I haven’t decided whether I’ll relocate to Rajkot after the wedding, I’ve found a caring and loving partner in Siddh.” The upcoming nuptials promise to be a romantic rendezvous against the scenic backdrop of Goa, making it a much-anticipated event in the television industry.
