Balika Vadhu 11th January 2013 Written Episode, Balika Vadhu 11th January 2013 Written Update
Scene 1:
Location: Udaipur haveli
Dadji has returned back to the haveli and is relating all his fun with his company on new year’s. They are all having a fun, light moment. Shiv and anandi too come in for his blessings. Meenu compliments her on her new saree. Seeing dadaji in a little tension, she asks whats the matter. Anandi offers him ginger tea despite him telling her not to bother. she says that this worked on dadisa too. hearing dadisa’s name, dadaji lights up and allows anandi to go make tea for him. Ira says that first she would have to make sweet for her ritual and she has to do it today only since they are leaving. Dadji is surprised to hear this. Shiv clearifies that he’s joining back. Alok asks what would she prepare and everybody has a unanimous response of halwa. Ira is emotional saying that she should fulfill dadaji’s wishes, for they wont be tomorrow.
Anandi comforts her saying that they would keep meeting her. Ira says that its difficult for her to come to terms with their going. Shiv says that they can switch coming to each other’s place.
Scene 2:
Location: Jaitsar haveli
Dadisa and everyone else is preparing for anandi’s arrival. Dadisa keeps cribbing to makhan for being perfect in all preps. Bhim Singh too is superexcited at their arrival and tries to help in everything along with dadisa, much to her amusement. Dadisa gets vishnu’s call and asks if there’s any news. Vishnu says that he hasnt been able to have much progress but she tells him to keep looking for jagiya in that village without bothering about money. Vishnu agrees. Dadisa turns around to find gehna and asks her if she had any work. Gehna gives her the sunglasses that she forgot inside and without saying anything, she goes inside.
Scene 3:
Location: Udaipur Village
Sanchi again disturbs ira saying that she doesnt want to go. Ira tries to tell her that is necessary for completing rituals and that even meenu would be with her and its just a matter of couple of days only. She also instructs her to behave as the last time, during sangeet she was the reason for dadisa falling so sick. when sanchi still cribs, ira says that she should understand or else alok would come in and explain in her style and that would bother her. Ira leaves.
Scene 4:
Location: Udaipur haveli
Nathu gives anandi the necessary things for halwa and she starts preparing. While anandi is working in the kitchen, shiv comes in front of anandi saying that he’s got dry fruits for her. As she gets to grind them, shiv tries to give her assistance and hurting anandi’s finger in its wake. while he instantly gets her hand under water, all the while apologizing to her, to lessen the pain, concernedly, anandi looks up at him in gratitude. their eyelock is broken off by a far away voice of dadaji coming in commenting on the halwa’s beautiful aroma. They begin their work again and shiv helps her in plating the dishes up. They come out together to serve halwa to the family. Anandi goes without serving them. All are boggled while she goes over to the temple to get it blessed by the gods first. Everyone is happy at her sincerity. She comes back and then starts serving them the halwa. All start eating. Everyone starts complimenting on the beatiuful taste of the dish. Alok gives her money as a token of his blessings which she takes on shiv’s approval. Others too give her their blessings. Ira and meenu go on to give her jewellery as a mark of their blessing.
Alok jokingly tells anandi to take sanchi inside and teach her alos that it would benefit her in her married life ahead. Sanchi gets irritated and says that she wouldnt ever do something that is so worker class or so substandard for her esteem and that she can never imagine a life like this for herself. Alok scolds sanchi while she leaves for her room. All are shocked to see her go like this. Meenu and Anandi, who is as it is hurt at sanchi’s statement, are all the more tensed when she finds shyam, bhairo and nandu at the gate who have come to take her back to jaitsar. Everyone is tensed and anandi’s family is hurt. The screen freezes on anandi’s tensed face.
Underlying message: The generation influenced by our western culture are characterised by western style of clothing. But they start forming the opinion that people who are indian in their clothing and involved in household work are nowhere advanced…..This is a very orthodox and backward mentality of the so called modernised generation.
Precap: Dadisa jokingly addresses her as collector ranisa and gets them to seat. Jagiya’s absence boggles anandi and shiv and they ask dadisa where is he and dadisa and everyone else are speechless to answer.
