Actor Gauahar Khan made headlines a few days ago when even after testing positive for COVID, she continued her shoot for a web series. She was accused for flouting COVID-19 rules to having multiple complaints pounded on her from the the FWICE (Federation of Western India Cine employees). However, one of the alarming things about this was the FIR including an apparent ban on her to not allowing her to shoot for the next 60 days.
However, finally some good news has arrived for the actor. There are reports that the ban may be lifted on Tuesday, March 30, when a second FWICE meeting is supposed to be held. Confirming this, FWICE President B N Tiwari told ETimes TV, “Well, Gauahar has sent us two apology letters till now. The first one she had sent much earlier, the second arrived lately. She also spoke to Ashok Dubey (FWICE General secretary) and we are probably going to allow her to resume shooting. She has signed up for a couple of web series and a producer of one of those shows has pleaded that we should give her the green signal else he would face heavy losses.”
ETimes TV then spoke to Dubey who said, “There are several actors in the web series she’s doing. The combination dates will go haywire. She has said sorry for her mistake. Let’s wait till Tuesday.”
