Avani tells Shikhar she won’t open the door until he reconciles with his father, and the family supports her. When Ashok almost falls, Shikhar catches him and helps him sit down.
Shagun tells Avani that she can’t hear anything from inside and assumes they’ve sorted out their issues. Inside, Shikhar asks Ashok who won their fight. Ashok says that in a battle between a father and son, there are no winners. Shikhar confides that only Avani believes in his potential, and Ashok agrees, saying Avani always tries to see the sweet in the bitter for their happiness.
Shikhar accuses Ashok of caring more about Pandey than his own son. Ashok denies this, saying he can’t watch his son ruin their family name. Shikhar asks if Ashok thought he would really leave them, and Ashok explains he stopped him because he and his wife are getting older and can’t handle rash decisions. He pleads with Shikhar not to leave.
Shikhar agrees to stay and asks Avani to open the door, saying he’s changed his mind. Ashok, however, warns that he won’t stop scolding him. Suman thanks Avani for saving their family. Shikhar tells Avani she’s stubborn, but she responds that she’s determined to keep the family united. Observing her husband and father-in-law walking in different directions, Avani realizes this issue might reoccur. She prays for Shikhar’s dream house to come true, seeing it as the only solution.
Later, Avani thanks Shikhar for resolving the issues and saving their family, promising that he will build his dream house soon. Shikhar jokes about who else would build it if not him, and asks her to cook for them. Avani notices Ritu ignoring her and thinks about how she can properly apologize to Pandey.
As Shikhar gets ready for work, Avani decides to give Pandey his favorite food, hoping it will earn his forgiveness. She asks Shikhar to take the halwa to Pandey, but Shikhar accuses her of not caring about his self-respect. He tells her to support him first and maintain her friendships second. Leaving without his lunch, Avani shouts after him, reminding him about it. Suman complains that Avani has angered Shikhar, who didn’t eat breakfast and left his lunchbox behind.
Avani prepares to take the lunchbox to Shikhar at his office. Meanwhile, Anika and Preethi are waiting for a rickshaw when Rudra’s father stops the car. Rudra offers them a ride to college. Anika, hesitant at first, admires Rudra as he opens the door for her.
At Shikhar’s office, the staff welcomes him warmly. The manager praises him, calling him the best employee and saying he deserves a promotion. However, he also brings up Shikhar’s past—how he went to jail for beating up a colleague, who was his friend. The manager threatens to fire Shikhar but says he wants to see his potential first, asking him to make coffee for the colleagues as a test.
Anika, in the car, praises the vehicle. Rudra’s father mentions his wife’s advice to start a business, highlighting her role as a supportive, working woman. Meanwhile, Avani arrives at the office with the lunchbox. Shikhar, still fuming over Varma, plans to take revenge. As he serves coffee to his colleagues, Avani is shocked to see them treating her husband poorly.
