Hii everyone!! Hope you all are doing good. Now I will be posting in evenings as my school is from 11 to 4:40. Pehle read then I will do my bakwas.
Riddhima went towards the military trucks which were moving to the ‘Actual’ war zone. Rushing and pushing the soldiers she reached the truck of the BSF soldiers which had some soldiers inside who looked at her with surprise.
Riddhima stared them for a while but a voice caught her attention.
“Riddhima?”
She turned to find Vansh standing all set for the war, tight-fitted clothes, helmet, life jacket full of mini bombs, and a gun in hand. He kept the gun on his shoulder moving close to her.
“Leave from here!” Vansh shouted at her making her flinch.
Riddhima knew the reason of him saying so, of course he didn’t want to be weak to serve his country.
“Please don’t fall weak for me. I will be proud by any results.” Riddhima said cupping her face and he looked at with astonishment.
“I am always yours Vansh. You know where you are? In my heart, in my mind, my soul is all yours… So never think about ANYTHING. We have talked about this earlier na? Just remember it.” Riddhima and he looked a little relieved.
“Dil jeet leti ho Riddhima..” Vansh said proudly.
(You win my heart Riddhima)
“That’s why tumhein jeeta hai” Riddhima said and smiled.
(That’s why I won you)
“Kill anyone, kill the whole blo*dy pack of them. Just come back ok?” Riddhima said to Vansh kissing his knuckles.
“Can’t promise meri jaan. It’s just that…I love you.” Vansh said pulling her for a bone crushing hug kissing her forehead.
“Now go…and get me big victory” Riddhima said and both chuckled. Vansh again kissed her forehead.
“Take care… whatever happens..I am always with you, and Ma and Ishani too” Vansh said.
“I know…now go…you have to complete my wish” Riddhima said and Vansh nodded, leaving from there.
As soon as the truck was out of her sight, she turned back wiping her tears. Back to play her part for the nation.
24 hours, there was no trace of anyone’s return from the war and Riddhima had since seen 5-6 soldiers loosing their breaths infront of her.
“Jhalak get the tweezer we need to operate”
Riddhima said sadly looking up on the next injured soldier.
She completely forgot about everything, her only and only aim was to make every soldier reach their home safely. To reduce the number of deaths happening, to bring smile of the families of the soldiers.
Vansh was behind a rock, face was smeared with black smoke and dust was all over. He peeked and saw 3 men’s standing with a heavy missile gun. Vansh very well knew the missile was complete destruction if shot. Inhaling a deep breath, he shot aimlessly and successfully killed 2 of them, while the third was shot by his fellow soldiers.
“We need to take the peek! Fast!” General Bakshi spoke and all the soldiers along with Vansh rushed to the peek as they had to capture it successfully.
As soon as the national flag was hoisted, all of them felt a wave of proudness in them. Cheering up each other, celebrating their happiness.
* 2 weeks later*
Ishani’s was sitting in the living room when her phone rang, she picked it up with a weird face.
“Hello?” Ishani said.
“Hello mam. I am standing at your door with a gift sent by Riddhima Gupta. Can you please take it?” The voice came Ishani hurriedly went towards the door.
Opening the door, she found Riddhima standing with a bouquet in her hand but instead of being happy, Ishani closed the door on her face and cried in happiness.
“Arree! Let me in!” Riddhima knocked the door and Uma came listening to the commotion.
“Oh my god Ishani what happened!” Uma became tensed seeing Ishani crying.
“Riddhima has sent a gift.” Ishani said wiping her tears, playing with Uma.
Uma opened the door and hugged Riddhima tightly seeing her. The trio entered inside and took their seats.
“Now next I am going to surprise Bhai” Riddhima said cheerfully.
“Riddhima..woh…Vansh..you know anything?” Uma asked her.
Riddhima’s face turned to a sad smile, and she slowly nodded in no.
“I don’t know Ma. But I am sure he will return” Riddhima said.
“Oh of course he will. And you both must have got loong holiday right?” Ishani said diverting the talking.
“How do you know?” Riddhima asked.
” I have seen in movies” Ishani said giggling while Riddhima roles her eyes.
“Dr. Rishi you have an emergency case! Please come fast ” The nurse came rushing to Rishi and he hurriedly followed her to his cabin.
“What’s the name?” Rishi asked filling the form.
“Riddhima Gupta” Nurse replied.
“Age?”
“23”
“Any profession?”
“Doctor in the armed forces”
Rishi NOW realised and looked at the nurse who was trying to control her giggles. He ran outside and saw Riddhima standing with her hands open for a hug, Rishi hugged her tightly and kissed her forehead.
“How are you? Are you fine? Did you get hurt?” Rishi’s questions were non stop.
“Bhai Bhai I am fine. I am totally fine and I didn’t get hurt. See. I am standing infront of you” Riddhima said and twirled a round and Rishi chuckled.
“Must got a long holiday?” Rishi asked.
“Tch…you also guessed. Koi nahi. Yes I have a long holiday but I am not in mood to celebrate it now.” Riddhima said sternly.
“What about Vansh?” Rishi asked seeing her.
“I don’t know Bhai. I am very scared.” Riddhima said hugging him.
“He will come back for sure.” Rishi said kissing her crown. “Accha don’t start crying I also have a surprise for you.” Rishi said to light up her mood.
“Really? What?” Riddhima asked clapping her hands like a kid.
Rishi chuckled and took her to his cabin, made her sit in his cabin and took out his phone to show something.
“Look” He said handing over the phone to Riddhima.
“Omg wow! When did this happen!?” Riddhima’s happiness had no bounds.
“Yesterday night. Wanna meet them?” Rishi asked and Riddhima nodded in yes.
It was a picture of Siya and Kabir getting married, and Riddhima was able to see Anupriya’s not so happy face. But she was able to see her friend’s face glooming in happiness. Her cheeks turned red when she imagined Vansh and herself in their place.

“I love you” Riddhima said clutching Vansh’s arms resting her head on his shoulder, both gazing at the flowing river.
“I love you more” Vansh said with a smile.
“Nooo” Riddhima said pouting cutely.
“Of course yes. You are petite figure is smaller than me physically which means my heart is bigger so I love you more. That’s not possible.”
Riddhima just stared Vansh with disbelief. Vansh chuckled at her open mouth and closed it with his hands.
“Seriously Vansh! Not fair.” Riddhima stood up from there.
“Oh is it soon to be Mrs Rai Singhania?” Vansh said pulling her cheeks.
“Yes it is! And I am angry but I love you but I am angry” Riddhima turned to the other side leaving but Vansh pulled her by her waist hugged her.
“I love you too and I am not angry” Vansh said pulling her more.
