I know I did not update last week, and there is no real reason behind that, I was so happy that I could not sit still and write.

“Imagine… Lucky! We, under same roof for tonight and weekends! We are gonna have so much fuuuunnnnn” Swara says with a wide grin.
When Dadi and Dida told her that Sanskar and Laksh are going to stay over for weekend, an awkwardness crept in her heart and her initial reaction was ‘In same house with her boyfriend! Only if Dadi knew!’
And now, she can’t help but feel happy. Sanskar is no just her boyfriend, he is also her best friend and there is not only Sanskar who is coming over, there is laksh too.
See, that’s why she never wanted to date one of besties. That’s why she never thought of Laksh that way and also because somewhere in her heart she always knew that aksh and Ragini are going to end together.
But then came Sanskar, with his dark brown eyes filled with warmth and charming smile which can melt any glacier, that she could not think about anything else and just fall in love with him. She did not give it much thought before today but now when she looks at how since the day they have come in a relationship, they don’t want to spend time as bestie but as two individual couples, it hurts her. How her mind didn’t go to all the options and chances they have to prank each other as best friends but directly jumped to the idea of a romantic stargazing and then eventually making out with Sanskar under stars!
She feels guilty!
She wonders what it is?! Having a relationship? Having relationship with best friend? Honeymoon phase of the relationship? Or just growing up?
Maybe a bit of everything!
“Yeah, we have not done it since, like… forever! Laksh says with a matching grin and Swara feels some of her guilt fading away. They can be back together as bestie… They have not come so far to not go back to what they were.
No… she is not going to break her relationship up with Sanskar. Even thinking about something like this breaks her heart in thousand pieces. Sanskar is way too precious for her to leave him!
She is just gonna try to not always think about their relationship…
Yeah…. She’s gonna do that!
“Yeah, I am so happy that you are going to stay over!” Sanskar who was walking beside Ragini and few steps behind Swara and Laksh, hears Swara and pouts playfully.
Fastening his steps he comes just behind Swara, wrap his arm around her shoulder and puuls her in him. “You are not happy that I am gonna stay too” Sanskar playfully asks.
“Of course I am!” And Sanskar genuinely smiles which soon turns in a frown with Swara’s next words “Only laksh is not my best friend, you are too!” Swara says it casually, which deepens Sanskar’s frown. She oblivious Sanskar’s reaction runs toward parking lot with bounce in her steps.
Laksh tries hard to control his laugh but eventually gives in, when he sees Sanskar’s wide eyed face. Ragini also falls in fit of laughter and Sanskar scowls at them.
Sanskar starts to move toward parking lot but Laksh stops him with his hand on Sanskar’s shoulder.
“Bhai…. Wait” Laksh starts saying but again starts laughing. “Bhai, did your girlfriend just friendzoned you?” Laksh mocks.
“Topper, you must be the first boyfriend who got friendzoned by his own girlfriend” Ragini comments, specially stressing on friendzoned and girlfriend.
Sanskar narrows his eyes at them but that makes them laugh harder only, eventually he sighs in defeat and follows Swara’s steps to parking.
Laksh looks at Ragini, her face red with continuously laughing, glitter in her eyes, glow on her face, her long hair flowing in all direction.
‘There is no beautiful sight than this, at least not for him’ Laksh thinks amazed.
“So lado, are you happy that Lucky the great is gracing your house with his presence” Laksh gives her, his famous smirk, mentally rolling her eyes at her boyfriend’s antiques, she gives him a sweet smile.
“Of course, I am” Laksh’s smirk widens “Both my best friends are coming to stay with us”
“I should not have laughed at Bhai… now I know how it feels when your own girlfriend friendzones you” Laksh mutters under his breath.

“What took you so long?” Dadi asks Ragini and laksh!
“Yeah lado and lucky, where have you guys been? It doesn’t take this much time!” With the smug smile Sanskar was giving them, they could clearly tell that he is taking revenge on them for the corridor incident. “You must be doing that!”
Dadi and Dida frowns in confusion about what ‘what ‘ sanskar is talking about! Swara mutely gasps at Sanskar’s clear insuniation.
“We… uh.. Wee” Ragini stutters, her face flushed with Sanskar’s statement and the way laksh is standing mutely, she can tell that he is doing no better than her. It’s not what they were doing has made her this flushed, because they were not doing any kind of PDA, it’s what Sanskar is insinuating has made her stutter.
“What were they doing?” Dida finally asks the question, making Sanskar’s smirk and Ragini’s & Laksh’s eyes widen.
“They must be…… ” The dramatic pause Sanskar takes, stops their hearts “Fighting… as usual” Sanskar gives a gentle smile to Ragini and Laksh making them take a deep, relaxed breath.
“Yeah… their fighting!!!”
“Now… listen since no one is here except both of us and you kids, we both have given all the servants leave, you all have to do your own work” Everyone groans except Sanskar.
“this is our punishment, right???” Ragini asks their grandmothers. Even though their grandmothers seem sweet but they have their own way of giving punishments.
“You all are so smart!” Dadi says and sits in passenger seat in her own car.
“We also don’t have any driver so Ansh and Lucky go to your house pack some clothes and then come to Swaragini mansion and you both shona and lado, don’t start chit-chatting and follow us, okay???” Swara and Ragini nods their head.
“You both are not going alone!” Sanskar orders making Swara groan.
“You are still on about that follower?” Swara asks and Sanskar gives her a warning look. His look clearly saying ‘not mess with me on this’.
“Bhai is right!” Laksh tells Ragini, who was trying to make him understand.
“Okay, you both are right so what should we do? Because Dadi and Dida has clearly ordered you both to go to your house and both of us to come directly to ours without wasting time and right now you are wasting our time!” Ragini snarls at Laksh in her angry lado mode which everyone is afraid of.
“Lado, but we can drop you both and then go to our house!” Laksh sweetly says.
“Okay but both of you are going to answer any question from them, understand?” Ragini asks, well more like orders Sanskar and Laksh to which both of them nod.

“What you did with Lado and Lucky back there was dangerous but I enjoyed their every reaction. You should have seen their face when you took that dramatic pause… god that was amazing!” Swara smiles remembering every expression on Ragini and Laksh’s face back there in parking lot.
“Tell me about it! I so loved it, when they were anxiously waiting for me to complete that sentence.” Sanskar says then frowns thinking that he has planned to be upset with Swara for sometime for what she said in corridor.
Sanskar looks at swara, a content smile on her face. He likes it that she has that smile when he is with her, it makes him realize that he also completes her as she completes him.
He can never be upset with his Shona, never!
“I did not know that you have it in yourself” Swara teases him and he playfully scowls.
“Then you don’t know me very well” His eyes follows her every action, from her raised eyebrow to her lower lip which she is biting quite mercilessly then to her hands which are shaking but finally his gaze settles at her lips.
Swara notices his eyes at her “how can he make me feel so many things by just looking at me” she wonders in her mind.
“I know you well enough to tell you that you won’t stop the car in the corner of this empty street and even if you will stop this car, you won’t pull me and kiss me the way you are dying to do” Swara goes further with her teasing, challenging him to do what she wants him to do.
“Was that a challenge, Miss Gadodia?”
“Was it, Mr Mathur??? I beg your pardon I was merely stating the fact”
“It’s about time then that you get your facts straight” Sanskar says with determination that makes swara’s heart stops and then beats two times faster than usual.
Sanskar pulls over at corner of the empty road, removes her seat belt making her take heavy breaths. He pulls her, making her sit in his lap.
“Hi!” His voice doing so many things to her that she can’t even express. And then the most wonderful thing happens, their lips meet.
Everyone says that there is a magic in first kiss. But anything with the person you love is magic. Yeah… first of everything is really exciting but firsts don’t give you the feeling of contentment and familiarity they are having right now. It is not sentimental, neither fast nor slow, it’s just …. home.
He keeps kissing her with all he has and the way she responds so eagerly tells him that he was not the only one who was dying to do what they are doing.

“Why did Ansh and Lucky came here to drop you??? Its not like you don’t know driving, lado!” Dida asks and Ragini inhales deeply, still angry on Sanskar and Laksh. She understands that they wanted both sisters safe but its not like Swara and Ragini are completely unable to protect themselves.
“Just because…..” Ragini answers and dida looks at her quizzically. No matter how much Dida wants to understand young generation and understand their language, its still hard for her sometimes. Swara sees that Dida is not really satisfied with answer.
“Just because, they did not want to do household chores Dida! They used dropping as an alibi to escape from punishment” Ragini looks at her twin sister with wide eyes. Swara smirks in response.
“Those boys do need lessons! I can see Lucky doing this but Ansh???” Dida wonders out loud! Swara and Ragini goes to their room with a smug smile on their face.
“Wow…shona! What you did there was awesome!” Ragini praises her sister and Swara just shakes her head, cheering.
“That will be our perfect revenge to them for underestimating power of Gadodia Sisters” Swara says with a determination in her eyes.
“That will surely make their stay sooooooooo memorable. Because I know for a fact that Dida is not going to go easy on them!” Ragini says with the same glitter in her eyes as her twin sister has.
“That will teach them to never mess with gadodia sisters” Both sister says in unison.
“We surely are twins!” Again both says in unison and laughs.
Since childhood they have habit of completing each other’s sentence and then concluding that their parents has not lied to them and both of them are definitely twins!
“Shona…. Lado!” Dadi calls them and bot sister groans!
“they are not going to easy on us too” Swara pouts but Ragini gives her a assuring smile.
“Don’t worry, topper and lucky will get worse” That does the work and Swara immediately smiles.

“Now Shona you cut these vegetables and Lado you wash all the dirty dishes”
“By hand!” Dadi adds when she sees Ragini giving a relieved smile. “You do all these then I will tell you what to cook”
“We will have to cook, too!” Swara asks and Dida shakes her head, making both sister sigh in relief which soon turns in frown.
“How can you just cook?! You will have to clean the sink too! How does it sound???” Dida asks sweetly, sprinkling salt on their wound.
“Like hell!” Both sister mutters under their breath but do as they are ordered nonetheless.
“God… I did not know that we eat this much vegetable!” Swara tells her sister.
“Tell me about it! I don’t get it why I have to clean these utensils with my hands when we have dishwasher?” Ragini wonders out loud then, continues working with slumped shoulders.
“God, how can you cut any round thing! It keeps rolling…” Swara
They keep complaini do ng and whining to each other.
Dida and dadi, listens and rolls their eyes on their over dramatic grand daughters!
“Stop whining you two! Grow up” Dadi orders, making them shut up. “Both of them must have taken their lazy genes from you”
“Me??? Let me tell you I am better cook than you, alright!”
“Stop fighting you two! Grow up” Ragini imitates Dadi, making everyone laugh!

“We are gonna have so much funnnnnnnn” Laksh exclaims as soon as he keeps his feet in swaragini mansion making everyone except smirk in themselves. Dida and Dadi because they have already planned punishment and both sisters because they know what is going to happen
“Let’s see how much fun he is going to have?!” Swara winks at ragini.
Laksh and Sanskar, comes in kitchen. Laksh gives a cheeky smile to both sisters.
“Seeing you both I this condition… I am already having so much fun” Laksh says making ragini raise her eyebrows at him.
“We can totally feel what you are going through” Sanskar says in a fake sympathetic tone making Swara scowl at him.
“Don’t worry topper, we both will make sure that you REALLY feel what we are going through” Ragini tilts her head and blinks like a doll.
“What have you guys planned???” Laksh asks suspiciously. Both brother looks around them as if expecting something to attack them.
“Did you make our food extra spicy???”
“Did you put itching powder on our bed sheets???”
“Did you…”
“Seriously? Lucky you should know better. We used to these kind of pranks when we were 12” RAgini interrupts their rants.
“Are you planning to vandalize our car??? Because let me tell you there is camera in your garage and you will get caught then you will get punished” Laksh informs them.
“We used to do this when we were 16” Swara narrows her eyes at her best friend and boyfriend.
“There is a camera in garage???” Ragini asks almost inaudibly as if she is talking to herself. All three of them looks at her with questioning gaze. Everyone sees Ragini’s face going white, her lower lip getting assaulted by her teeth and her worry covering usual shine of her eyes.
“There is a camera in garage??? You even know that???” Ragini hisses at Laksh, this time loudly but not loud enough for Dida and Dadi to hear.
Dida and Dadi leaves to go terrace, letting all best friends do work.
Laksh looks puzzled about how it’s his fault that he knows that there is a camera in garage of Swaragini mansion.
Ragini glares at him, but her face clearly showing that she is worried not angry.
But why is she even worried???
Then it clicks in his mind.
(Few hours back when Laksh came to drop Ragini)
“They might be dangerous.” Sanskar and Swara are coming in Sanlak’s car and Ragini and laksh decided to take Swaragini’s car. Since the time they have sit in car, she is looking outside and Laksh is trying to make her understand that why it was important for Sanskar and Laksh to be with Swara and Ragini.
Truthfully speaking, Ragini understands. It is swara who always takes everything to feminism, not ragini. It’s not like Ragini is not feminist, obviously she is! But she also tries to think beyond all these things. And sometimes its not about male, female or male letting control. Sometime its about letting someone protect you, not because you are unable to do so but because someone loves you enough to do that for you. But she still does not like anyone else to make decisions for her.
Laksh keeps his hand at her thigh making her breath hitch.
Ragini narrows her eyes at him, when she sees him smirking.
Jerk… he knows how he affects her!
And he is taking advantage of it!
Ragini let her head rest on her seat and closes his eyes, pretending that he doesn’t affect her. Laksh frowns, when he sees her closed yes but doesn’t give up!
Ragini feels his forefinger making different shapes on her thigh and her breath get caught in her throat. ‘How can just one finger do this much to her?’. But she already knows the answer. Laksh has always had a hold on her heart, body and mind. Knowingly or unknowingly she has always tried to be good in his view. She was always aware of him.
Laksh sees Ragini biting her lip too hard, her face red like cherry, shiver running through her body. But he doesn’t smirk on the effect he is having on her, he looks at her lovingly!
“Why did you stop???” As soon as words were out of her mouth she mentally smacked herself on head too hard. Great, now she is coming out as a desperate girlfriend. Wow… Lado, well done!
“Because we have reached!” Laksh answers, his every word laced with amusement and pride.
“Don’t be too smug, I was just shocked that you stopped car so suddenly!” Ragini defends, and Laksh nods his head mocking her. “And work on your driving how do you stop car, it jerked me” Ragini blubbers, accepting defeat.
“Yeah… I totally believe you!” Laksh mocks her, making her blush deeper red.
“Shut up!”
“Wow, lado your wit amazes me!”
Ragini glowers at him and takes a deep breath to take control of the situation. She unbuckles herself and climbs over his lap, making his eyes widen.
“lado, we are in front of your house!” Laksh says trying to be intimidating but his shaking voice does not help the situation.
“Take us to garage” Ragini orders and he starts engine again!
Lado finds herself losing control but now it does not matter. She just wants him close, She wants him.
As soon as he stops car, she kisses him, passionately and slowly. As if savoring the moment…. their moment where no one exists except Lucky’s lado and lado’s lucky.
It’s amazing how nice everything looks when you are in the arms of person who truly loves you. You can fight with that person all you want but at the end of the day you know that you don’t want to be anywhere else but in his arms. Because that’s where you feel safe, protected, wanted…. that’s where you feel loved.
He can never get tired of this!

Swara and Sanskar notices Laksh’s face getting as white as Ragini’s face is.
“Are you guys alright???” Sanskar asks to which both of them shake their head.
“Lado, the day anyone in our family sees it, either I am getting killed or we are getting married… which let me tell you is equals to death” Laksh talks in hushed tone, oblivious to the affect his words are having on Ragini.
Ragini’s mind go back to idea of Laksh not taking her seriously, she tries to brush it off. Trying to convince herself by chanting in her head ‘this is not the time to think about all these, they have bigger problem on their head’.
‘Marrying to her is equals to death?’ Her mind might move but her heart is now stuck.
“What have you both done???” Sanskar asks, taking his position of eldest one.
“We were in garage today!” Laksh says, expecting Swara and Sanskar to understand him.
“So??” Swara asks. Her mind not getting the idea. “What really happened?”
“What really happened shona is I must have got recorded in camera, sharing spits with Lucky” Ragini says angrily, all her frustration and worries comes out through words. Swara flinches and cowers back at her twin sister’s rude language. Sanskar holds Swara and glares at Ragini.
Look on Swara’s face is enough for Ragini to realize what she has done and said. Guilt creeps in her heart. “I am…. I am so sorry!” Ragini covers her face with her palm.
Sanskar moves forward, still glaring at Ragini but laksh stops him.
“Bhai!” Laksh shakes his head to stop Sanskar and goes to console Ragini. Sanskar takes his step back and holds Swara in his arms, who is still surprised on her sister’s action.
“Lado!” Laksh gathers her in hug and she finally gives in. It feels right to be in his arms. “It’s ok! I understand” Why he has to speak and remind her of what he has said few moments ago?!
Ragini looks up and Laksh takes a step back. Laksh looks in her eyes as some common people looks at a painting, where he tries to find out that exactly hat painter wanted to say. Her eyes displaying all kind of emotions hurt, betrayal, love, longing, anger and he just can’t point at single one but the most prominent one is hurt.
“Do you???” Ragini does not complete the sentence but Laksh knows what she wants to say. “Do you really understand?”
Ragini let herself free from laksh and goes to Swara. Her eyes pleading to Swara for forgiveness. Swara also removes herself from Sanskar’s arms and hugs her sister.
“Don’t worry we will handle it! After all you are my younger sister” Swara teases Ragini to ease the tension and Sanskar shakes his head at his girlfriend and her sister.
That’s why Sanskar loves this girl so much. Sanskar hugs both of them assuring Ragini that he will handle everything.
“Yes you both will have to otherwise I will tell everyone about what you were doing in car at roadside” Laksh gives a cheeks smile on Swara and Sanskar’s sheepish look.
“You know!” Swara and Sanksar says in unison. Making ragini and Lkash smirk at them.
“I also know it” Ragini says.
Laksh tries to get Ragini’ attention but she ignores him and both sisters continues with cooking.
